Fun Music Venue on the Beach

I've only been here to see a few bands play. The place is pretty intimate but not too small, and the acoustics are alright. If you're going to see a band at Canes, I suggest coming early. Not only are the lines to get in long, but by getting in early, you can grab one of the few rare seats by the bar or better yet, sit on the staircase ledge that hangs over the main floor. These coveted ledge seats are seriously the best seats in the house... that is, if you don't want to be part of the mosh pit.
If you decide the music is not worth listening to, Canes also serves food and drinks both inside and outside. I can't say what the food is like, but the people seem to enjoy it. I think I also spotted a small dance floor at another part of the bar, but I didn't get to check it out.
