I had my wedding at Julep in May '05 and the entire experience was smooth and problem-free. The staff is experienced and helpful. The local is absolutely stunning and centrally located. Their food is so delicious! And they offer lots of great menu options. I highly recommend Lisa Dupar's Julep! Check it out for your next upscale event!

If you're the kind of vegetarian who sometimes misses meat, the "fake meat" at Bamboo is a wonderful way to feed that need without compromising your decision to be meat-free. Folks, if you like middle eastern food, or even if you don't think you do, get yourself to Truly Mediterranean. This new restaurant in the University District offers a wide menu of amazingly delicious items. Often falafel can be hit or miss... often tasting bland or charred. But at Truly Med you'll find the most tender, flavorful balls of perfection. Instead of wrapping these tasty morsels in a dry, boring, pita, they opt for the flaky and marvelous lavash flat bread. And then round it out with chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, and a little spicy red sauce. If you're smart you'll opt for the deluxe falafel which includes potato and divine fried eggplant. MMMM!!! The shawerma (much like a gyro) is reportedly fantastic. This place was a huge hit in it's former incarnation in San Francisco. Once you taste a bite, you'll be so glad they've moved to this beautiful Seattle location!

The little spring rolls are superb with a lovely and fragrant dipping sauce. If you like Thai try this out and you'll be back again and again.

But don't stop there. The tacos are so great with interesting ingredients. Everything here is good! Try all the superb and inventive dishes! And desserts are excellent!
