Lots of History
Wednesday, September 28, 2005
The Crazy Horse Memorial is a must see on a visit to the Black Hills. The Museum itself holds much history and offers tours of the founders home as well as true-to-life carvings of the Memorial which is yet to be finished. There is also a cafe (offering free coffee) and gift shop on the premises. The only drawback is there are not many hands-on activities thus younger people may not enjoy it as much.
In the evenings, the park offers a lazer show which is free with paid admission. This is a must see! The lazer show is set to music and it is an incredible experience watching the mountain "come alive".
