Although the quality is not superb, you get way more than what you're paying for (compared to other woman's retail clothing stores). I like the Forever21 brand clothes because they are trendy - stuff that you might only wear 2-3 times, you really don't have to spend big bucks for. You can buy a cute top for under $15 and wear it 2-3 times and be done with it (or keep wearing it over and over again...). Their basics like tank tops, etc. are also great buys...and so are their earrings. You can find cute, trendy looking earrings for under $3 most of the time!

I like how there are so many different brands inside Chick's Sporting Goods. The staff is good, too. I feel like there are not huge "sales" like they have at Sportsmart but I like the selection of items that Chick's carries. Their women's/girl's section also have lots of casual clothes that you can wear as well. I've bought shoes from them and they have some type of discount shoe program - I'm a little fuzzy on the details...

The quality of the furniture is what really attracts me to Ethan Allen. All the wood furniture is beautiful and I like all their newer collections - a little more modern wood furnishings. I like their interior designers who are very helpful sales associates. I like how you can custom pretty much anything by picking out your fabrics in the store.

They really do a huge inventory of household items. I just got married a few months ago and I've been there so many times now! (My kitchen was never stocked before). I love the 20% off one item coupons that are constantly coming in the mail. I also like how you can bring back your receipt and the coupon to get the discount after your purchase.

Really, you have to try the pizza at Ray's in Irvine. It's located right across from the UC Irvine campus - tucked in the back of the shopping center by some Akiko martial arts studio and next to a frozen yogurt place...pretty close to Diedrich's. Anyways, the 2 slices and one med drink is always popular & cheap. It seems to be a family run business. I remember they were even serving Ray's pizza inside the Edwards at Spectrum (and I loved that) but they no longer do that (plus Edwards is owned by Regal now). Anyways, their pastas are good as well.

You have to try the MOZZARELLA which is fried and comes in their tomato sauce. I think it's the best thing on their menu. The view is beautiful and the service is excellent. All the waiters I've had were fabulous. They do have a stellar wine collection but I've only had wine by the glass at Villa Nova. They also do private parties. Very romantic atmosphere and IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE THERE IS ON A DATE!

Really, this is the best place to sleep if you're staying for a night in IRVINE, CA. There are obviously better places to sleep down the street in Newport Beach. They have down comforters which is always a plus. There aren't really any other nice hotels in Irvine - compared to the Hyatt. The next closest is probably the Marriott hotel. If you're doing a search, I wouldn't necessarily go with the Irvine Hilton because it is a really old place. Every time I go, I think someone says it was "recently remodeled" but everything still feels old to me. It's really close to the airport but the Hyatt is only a few more blocks down.

There are things that I hate about Luxor and things that I love about it. The good: the tram to Mandalay Bay, the Mandalay Place connector that takes you on a walk through a new shopping wing which connects the two hotels (Urban Outfitters, hamburger joint, Italian food, Art of Shaving, Fornarino, etc), THE SPA IS OPEN 24 HOURS, and if you're staying at the hotel, RA is easy to get into with a hotel key and always decent if you want to "party but have the option of going upstairs if you're tired/bored/wanna leave everyone else that wants to keep partying". The bad: the food is horrible. I've never had a good meal there. Most times, it feels like there's just not enough air circulation inside the hotel...

The rooms are not cramped. I love the automatic drapes and the bathrooms. Security checks everyone's room key to get to the elevators. The restaurants are incredible - I have never had a bad meal at the Bellagio - even at the Cafe, the food is delicious. There's a new place by the Spa tower that is yummy but I can't remember the name. The flowers are amazing in their garden. I love the colorful glass butterflies in the lobby ceiling. The upscale retail stores are great for window shopping. The connection to Ceasar's makes it easy to continue walking for even more shopping next door...
