Stay for the cafe and magazines; don't touch the lower level

Friday, October 21, 2005
I am writing this nearly purely for the cafe. With it's in-bookstore seating, coffee (yum) and offerings of splenda and fat-free half-and-half (lower cal faves), this is a great place to either take a break from work with a magazine and drink, or to hole up to write a paper. But as far as the bookstore goes, it loses when it comes to the "Yale" part. It seems that the addition of any insignia causes the price to increase 3-fold. So, stay for the chillness factor, but don't furnish your apartment with its offerings.
