We ate at Black Angus last night and have to rate it as just your average steakhouse. The food was average. It wasn't bad, it just didn't stand out. This particular restuarant is also in dire need of a remodel. The decor is outdated and seems to cater to older clientele. One thing I can say, you won't go hungry here. The serving sized were HUGE and we left with a couple of to-go boxes. The menu is complete for what you'd expect a steakhouse to serve.

I don't know what they put in their sauce, but it is FANTASTIC! I have been going to the Quarter's restuarants in Albuquerque for 20 years and really prefer the one on Yale. The quality of the meat at all of the restuarants is top notch. You don't get grissly meat or chewy chicken at all! Their sandwiches are very reasonably priced as are most of their platters. In addition to their restuarant service, they also sell their meats and sides in large volumes for parties. At least once a year, I have a party at my house with Quarters BBQ as the fare. It is always a hit because everyone love Quarters!!

Vivace's is a small restuarant in the Nob Hill area on Central. There is only about 12 tables, but the food is first class. They have an excellent selection of pasta dishes and tend toward northern italian sauces (not tomato based). In addition, they can add a bit of new mexican flair by adding a touch of green chile to the sauce. The atmosphere is very cozy with cloth napkins and table clothes, smaller tables, and incredible smells from the kitchen. Vivace's is a lunch favorite for my friends and family.

High Finance restuarant has been an Albuquerque establishment for a long time. It is located on the top on the Sandia mountains and is only accessed by either a long hike or a flight up the world's longest Tram. If you make reservations, you get a discounted ticket for the Tram. The restuarant offers a variety of fish, poulty, steaks, and mexican food. The food is well prepared. The atmosphere is very relaxing on the inside with alot of wood trimming and a beautiful bar. The biggest reason to visit the restuarant is for the world class view. The deck overhand the 4000 ft face of the Sandia mountains. As evening comes, you will be blown away by a stunning sunset followed by a complete view of the entire city lights of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.

I lived in Japan for a year and developed a love for japanese food during that time. Mr. Sushi is some of the most authentic japanese food that I have had since I returned to the US. They have a complete range of sushi as well as cooked foods. It is one of the only places I've been that offers shabu-shabu! The atmosphere is much like you would find in a small japanese restuarant. The food is consistantly good. They pay extra attention to the food such as handmaking thier gyoza.

We own a TransAm with wide tires. It is very easy to tell when the alignment is off. My husband and I had struggled with the alignment with Big O and Discount Tire for over two years with multiple visits to each facility. My husband stopped in at Wheel Align It II to have a bolt replaced and gave them a chance to correct the touchy alignment on the TA. We were amazed that they got it right the first time! This facility has handled all of our tire and alignment needs for our TA, family sedan, and performance luxury car for the last three years and we consistantly get quality alignments and service.

Whenever I shop for consumer electronics or appliances, I always stop in Baillio's to see what they are offering. I have found that Baillio's carries a slightly larger selection of products than someplace like Sears, but on high volumn brands like Sony their prices are not typically the best. I do have to say that they have some of the most knowledge staff for these products that I have every dealt with.

Gardunos on 4th street is the original location of this very popular Albuquerque chain of new mexican food. I have eaten at many of the other locations, but always end back at the 4th street location. All of the locations have a vast selection of wonderful New Mexican fare, but the atmosphere at the original location is more cozy than the rest. In addition, there is a bar where you can get snack type servings of taquitos, chips, and tacos.

Our family eats organic and natural meats and poultry which limits the places I'm willing to purchase meat. Kellers raises their own cattle, hogs, chickens, and turkey. It is all hormone and antibotic free. The prices are slightly higher than a the other chain grocery stores, but the quality of the product more than makes up for the additional cost. In addition, Kellers carries a large selection of buffalo meat.
