I went to Yolanda's after getting engaged to get an idea of the type of dress that I want and I figured it would be a great place to get treated like a princess. Well, first off they ask how much you wan to spend and when I gave the salesgirl a figure she laughed at me and said that I would find nothing I liked in that price range. She proceeded to parade dresses for me to try on which were beautiful and very fun to try on 10,000 dollar dresses, but I felt they looked down at me for not wanting to spend a down payment for a house on a dress.

Grotto is located in the residential beacon hill area of Boston, behind the State House. It's downstairs location is easy to miss, but don't because the food is incredible and the prices are right. We've tried many things on the menu and our favorites are: the fondue, the pasta dishes, and the molten cake.

Finale is a really special place to go for a beautiful and delicious dessert. While dessert is their specialty, they do have savory options for those who can't have dessert on an empty stomach :) And while it is expensive for a meal ending, it is really a fun place to go to try something different. The samplers are to die for and have a great sampling of what the restaurant has to offer.

Fire and Ice is a really fun place to go to experience the concept of the open grill, but I would advise to go at an off hour. Because when it gets filled, the open concept grill gets packed and you have to not only wait in line to get up to the grill, but will then have to wait in line to get your food cooked. I do like the overall concept of being able to pick out your own stir fry concoctions, but I think it could be executed a little better. The one thing is, you can only blame yourself if you don't like the food!! :)

This place is pretty much a standard pizza and sub place, but one look at some of the sub options and you realize that there are some very interesting options! The steak stick is one of those very delicious, yet regretting options. It is pretty much a steak & cheese sub that is wrapped in calzone dough and deep fried. Is it good for you...NO, is it a delicious way to end a night of drinking...YES!
