Honey Elementary is quite possibly one of the best public schools in Lubbock. Of the many people I know who graduated through Lubbock's very diverse public school system, the brightest have came from Honey. When I asked them about their experience at Honey, they said that they really treasured their time there. I would definitely recommend Honey Elem. to everyone who wants to provide their children with a really good elementary school experience.

KK's Crafftmall is a really cool store to go to when you're just looking for something really random. Its a craftmall like it says, but it has all sorts of neat things! And the best part is that its all made by local people, so it feels good to be giving back to the community. If you have something specific in mind, maybe your best bet is Hobby Lobby, but if you're looking to just have some fun then KK's is the place to go!

It was rennovated from an old Mattress factory and it really has an indepth look at art for all viewers (from those who know nothing about it to very experienced artists) The collections feature mostly media adn are most intersting. The prices are fairly inexpensive and it can be a fun event for families, friends, or even casual dates.

Kennywood captures a historical sense of Pittsburgh. It is one of the oldest, most traditional theme parks in the world!! It is fun to pretend you are in another time at Kennywood. There are about 30 different rides, and 3 wooden rollercosters! (quite a bumpy yet thrilling ride). If you are into theme parks, especially those oriented towards family unity, make sure to go by Kennywood, it is one of Pittsburgh's best attractioons. The prices are also very fair for a theme park (around 15.50 for adults).

Schenley's park and reserve is a beautiful place to spend a warm day. It was rennovated a few years ago and is still constantly being upkept by park rangers and by volunteers. Volunteering in the park is a perfect way to spend any weekend (especially with a group or friends). You will get hands on interactions with nature and you get to choose how much work you'd like to put in. The water pond is really pretty, especially when the fountain is on and is a great place to picnic.

Although Warhol's most popular art is now on exhibit across seas... it is still worth a visit to the Andy Warhol museum! It is an overall fun place with very interactive exhibits (such as the silver clouds room) and video clips you can watch (some from the productions Warhol made himself!) Best of all.. there is an activities room in the basement where you can either pay for some cool Warhol'esqe photos or make your own project for free! the free projects change constantly, so its worth checking out!

It would be safe to say that Lubbock Kennels is an ok kennel service. They kindly boarded our dog "Lucky" whenever we needed them to and were always warm and kind to us. Although she always came back to us with a slight cold, it seemed like she didn't mind the stay. I think Lubbock Kennels is a very good kennel for your animal and I recommend them.

Dr. Cabrera is such a kind doctor. He has watched me grow from young boy to adolescent to now a man. He's been there when my family has needed him and he has always offered his expert opinion. The only problem with his clinic is that it can get busy and that although walk-ins are welcome, you will usually have to wait a while to see Dr. Cabrera.

Benaglio's serves up food that you normally wouldn't expect from a restaurant located in the heart of King's Gate. The food is very fresh and flavorful. You should consider the pasta bar if you have a large appetite. There's hundreds of combinations of different pastas, ingredients and most importantly, the sauces. The only complaint I have is that it tends to be a bit on the expensive side.

Dr. Booth is a very kind and gentle eye doctor. He was my eye doctor for the 6 years I lived in Lubbock. He's the only OD in Lubbock who accepts Mail Handler's insurance (which was the primary reason why we preferred him over anyone else). He is exceptional to me because the one time I had an eye emergency (instead of the standard eye exam) he very kindly found a place for me in his busy schedule and saw me and diagnosed and treated my problem.
