I have been here a few times only because it allows people under the age of 21 but over the age of 18 to enter. Other then that there are no other perks. I also find it strange that there is a woman in the woman's washroom who sells items. The men are pushy, I advise wearing a wedding ring because that will get them off your case faster! The bouncers are not friendly either! One time, I heard him shout at a group of girls to "MOVE" because they were gathering in one of the hallways. To say the least, I am unimpressed.

Scorch Bar is a relatively new addition to the night life scene in Phoenix. But it's a good place to go if you want to hang out with friends without being in a huge crowd. The music isn't bad. The main feature of this venue is the bathroom. It has a window that links the male and female washrooms. So if you are fixing your make up don't be surprised if you see another face staring back at you - this can be exciting or scary depending who you are. I recommend going with some friends, just to see what all the fuss is about.

Axis Radius has been hailed as one of the upscale clubs of Arizona. That of course is true. It is located in Scottsdale Arizona, and cash flows easily in this neighborhood. The crowd can be very "fake" and people bring fake personalities, but it can be a nice change of scenery from going out to your standard movie. Men will not be shy, and women are not afraid of showing off what they have. It is not for the weak of heart, but they play good music. The drinks are not bad either!

AZ beach Club was formerly Club Rio. It's the place if you're 18 and you want to party but you can't get into the other clubs because you're not 21. It's a little bit ghetto, as the floor still has the old wooden flooring and the decor is sparse. If you're an older women or male this is not the crowd you want to be around with. The kids can get obnoxious, and they often forget how old they really are. The music is sub par, they would do well to get better dj's. It's also a little sleazy, but if it's wednesday and you're bored, you can check it out.

Having grown up in a metropolitan city, Phoenix has disppointed me in the night life scene. But Myst is slowly changing that perception. It has many rooms that feature a different sort of scene. I prefer the white room with all the white furniture. Or you can get your groove on, and hit the main floor with all the other dancing bodies! Cover isn't bad at $10 since Myst is not some sort of Dive. It is located in Scottsdale where many of Az's elite and rich go out to party. I say to get there early unless you like to wait in lines, or if you can get on the vip list!

Mill Ave is a nice street to walk down and go out shopping. But the novelty wear off very quickly. Many of the shops are overpriced and teaming with loud customers, and Divaz is one of them. They have brand name items like Juicy Couture, but it;s definitely too pricey for most college budget students. The staff doesn't even seem to acknowledge your presence unless you get right up to their faces. If you have a lot of money you want to waste then this wouldn't be too shabby of a place to go to!

This is a great store to buy all your Asian home decor! The prices although a little high are worth it. They offer high quality items, and they are very informative. It is not a large store, but they have a huge selection! You can find dragon statues, Buddha's and an array of Asian art work! I recommend not going during a Chinese holiday, since that is when the store will be crowded!

They have a very extensive selection when it comes to imported products. It ranges from novelty Chinese daggers to delicate paper flowers and lanterns. They also have an Asian Video store, where you can find all your kung fu movie needs! I do feel however that the items are overpriced, I know how much many of these items cost, and it bothers me that they would gauge the price. But of course that is my opinion. There isn't a very large staff either, and the owner doesn't seem very friendly.

And they're only 25 cents a piece! The beer is not at an expensive price either! Just make sure to get their early, you might have trouble finding parking! Also, don't be surprised if it gets noisy, many of the college kids will frequent this joint!

I was introduced to Dragon Bowl by my in laws who have been loyal customers for the past 3 years. They have a larger establishment, so if you want to bring the family you can! But like most authentic places, the waitstaff do not know much english, but that doesn't matter much when you're eating! I recommend trying the family combo meals, you'll save money awhile eating well!
