This little store is very conveniently located on the main street of Fremont Ave. It's great for smaller purchases in between my bi weekly big shopping trips at Safeway or QFC. I go there mainly for fresh produce, it's slightly more expensive than the big national chains but are the quality is great. The produce on the clearance racks are great value for money if you plan to use them within a couple of days. The wine selection is quite extensive, even has little cards with ratings and description which are helpful for especially last-minute purchases for a dinner party.

It's the quintessential diner great for breakfast or brunch with friends and family, but the menu selection has more than breakfast items. Serves comfort food in style. Friendly but slow service so be prepared to wait. Get there early (before 8am) on weekends, the line forms very quickly and long after that!

I was recommended by a friend to Dr. Kristian Overby. For someone who has a fear for dental visits, his hygienist was calming and professional. Dr. Overby was a great sense of humor that puts his patients at ease. It's a busy clinic, but a strong sense of community prevailed as it seemed like the patients knew most practicianers and receptionists that work there. It was definitely worth my 1-hour drive.

The conveyor belt system means you don't need to wait for your food! The food is average for the casual sushi lover, and the raw salmon is highly recommended! The ambience is casual, good for a group of friends or family to get together. Some parts of the restaurant has bar-style seating that allows the lone diner to enjoy his food and be entertained by the sushi chefs behind the conveyor belt. Go before 6pm on Fri and Sat, line-up forms pretty quickly after that and the wait would usually be about 30 mins.

The cakes are just DIVINE! The designs are European-influenced, and taste is just right - not too sweet, slighly rich and heavenly! The classic chocolate cake is srcumptious, and there're many other kinds of fancy cakes. The selection changes often so there's always an element of surprise, and gives the impression that the bakers are passionate about their baking. A must-try!

The clinic is run by a husband & wife team - Dr. David Harvey is the family physician and his wife is the dentist. The clinic started about 2.5 years ago, I started going about 1.5 years ago. I was impressed with their philosophy in spending more time in knowing their patients, which they have put into practice. Dr. Harvey (family physician) knows my family by name, and remembers our health conditions. When he sees one of us, he asks for updates on the other family members. It is apparent that he puts his patients' best interests on priority. Opens on Saturdays too, great for those who prefer to save up their sick leave.
