Yes, I know that Red Lobster caters to seafood fans, but you would at least think that there would be a couple alternative options for vegans/vegetarians. Instead all they have are cheese sticks, which are an appetizer... That's it. I ordered a pasta dish without the chicken, and was so disappointed. The meals all center around the meat, so if you order without, you get a meal with no substance. I ended up with just pasta... $10 pasta. Keep this in mind when people you know want to drag you there and see if you guys can come up with another restaurant.

I first started doing business with Huntington back in 2001. I get free checking and savings with no fees or hidden costs. I can look up all of my transactions online too and transfer money to different accounts, along with seeing copies of the checks I wrote. Of course if I spend more than I have, I do have to pay a fee. One thing I really love are the Huntington machines at CSU. They let you take out... $1 (great for vending machines!)!! So you can take out any amount of money that you want. Their bank tellers are also very friendly.

It used to be that I could find an Arabica location at all the main places I went, but now they're few and far between. It's a great independent local company that has many things to offer, such as normal food, pastries and ice cream. Oh, and of course coffee. I don't know if they take credit now, but when i went there 5 years ago they did not, which I found out too late, but the clerk gave me everything for free! Even the food I wanted. That is super service!

I am all about buying from the underdog and not some super huge evil corporation, so I decided to try out Phoenix. I spent a little over 9 bucks (with tip) on a sandwich and a mocha. It was not worth it in my opinion. I unfortunately do prefer Starbucks. The drink left little to be desired and the sandwich was just satisfactory. It cost way too much to be that let down.

I really do have to rave about this store. I have many items that I have bought from there, and just about all have held up better than any other clothing item I have. I have had a few flops where the item has pilled just after I bought it. That happens with cotten knits and satiny/silky type materials, so really anything that feels really soft and comfy probably won't hold up well. All else though is simply incredible. Their jeans are the only company that fit me, because they're cut wider in the thighs and hips than just about all other companies. I'm not a big girl by any means, but it's hard to find pants for my pear shape. Their pants also come in three lengths, so short women, tall women and everyone in between can find something that fits!

Lola is one of my new favorite stores. What, you've never heard of it? Well, you may have heard of Rave. You may have also noticed that some Rave locations have gone out of business. The reason for this is that Lola bought them out and will be opening up their own locations along with taking the place of some Rave stores. I found out about this when I went to Rave at Tower City and noticed a lot of tags that said "Lola." All were on items that I really loved, so I asked the saleswoman if Lola was a new brand they carried. They now only sell Lola items. I adore their jewlery. The prices are higher than Rave's, but their quality makes up for it. The difference in the styles are that Lola has more unique items that you would see people wearing in NYC or what you would see celebrities wearing. They get a grasp on the trends before they get really big it seems.

I first found this store by accident and spent over an hour there. They have all sorts of unique ethnic inspired items. My favorite thing was their jewelry section which consists of many beaded pieces. The most I paid for any of the jewelry was 3 bucks! I got a super unique ghecko bracelet. it's beaded with a couple different colors and the gheko wraps around the wrist. It's so neat. They have really gorgeous Indian looking fabrics and shower cutains. They have ornate decorations on them. I would love to decorate my house with just about everything in the store.

The only thrift store where I have ever had good luck is at Unique. Their prices are so low, but on top of that, everyday you can get some items half off. Every item has a tag on it which is one of maybe 5 colors. There is a sign each day saying what colors are half off. On Monday, every color is half off!! I have many Express shirts there and have bought them for 2 bucks... looked brand new too. I also got a super cute furry leopard print belt for only 90 cents, it was new as well. Everything is organized by color and type of garment. They also have, books, furniture, kitchen stuff... well, everything

I remember 10 years ago when I knew I was different from most people and wanted to be able to wear clothes that showed it. I was listening to a late night radio show when I heard that Hot Topic had clothes for people like me. I looked up where to find it and had my mom take me there. Sure enough it was what I had been looking for. They had hard to find vinyl pants and funky shirts and jewelry riddled with spikes. Now though, of course it can be a nice alternative for some people, but it is trendy. Since Hot Topic has opened, this has become the trendy way for people to dress, and it is guarenteed that many other people will be wearing the same outfit as you, which is not a horribly fun way to state your individuality.

If you're new to the area and are looking for a place to do your grocery shopping, then Giant Eagle might be what you are looking for. Their stores do range in size and have different hours of operation. Some are open 24 hours, while others close at 11 PM. I know of one location that is huge and has everything under the sun. I will go by what I have seen at the majority of the locations I have been to. There just is not a huge selection, period. Also, the produce is not very fresh, but then again, we do live in Cleveland. The prices are pretty high up there, but they do double coupons up to .99 cents. They have a deli and a bakery, along with a huge wine selection.
