This is the larges and newest theater in town. They have first run moves. The prices are decent, and they have a military discount, which is new. The concession stand does not have free refills, and the prices are a bit steep, but for a treat it's not bad. They have a few video games in the lobby if you are early for your movie. They are clean, and close to several restaurants.

Over the years the zoo has undergone many changes. It has grown, and new animals have been placed there. They seem to be updating it bit by bit, and the new penguin house is a blast. I like it...
Over the years the zoo has undergone many changes. It has grown, and new animals have been placed there. They seem to be updating it bit by bit, and the new penguin house is a blast. I like it almost as much as the Anchorage zoo, as I grew up with it.

While I miss the old museum, the one you could get lost in, the new one isn't bad. The carousel is fun, and they always seem to have activities for kids. The dedicated space for traveling exhibits...

I wish we had a Sally Beauty Supply in Alaska. The staff was always helpful, and they always had what I needed. The prices are good, and they quality is superb.

This is one of the only reasons I have to go to the mall. My husband and I love Chopsticks, and you know your food is fresh made, as you watch them make it. The teriyaki chicken is superb.

This place has it all. A movie theater, pizza. burritos, other REAL food, plus their own micro-brew beer and ROOTBEER. Their rootbeer is some of the best I have EVER had.

This place has it all. A movie theater, pizza. burritos, other REAL food, plus their own micro-brew beer and ROOTBEER. Their rootbeer is some of the best I have EVER had.
If you are watching a movie in the real theater, they will bring you your food. If you are over 21, you can sit on the main floor and get beer from the bar in there. Their take-out is quick, so if it is crowded you can find one of Anchorages many parks to go sit in.

This is one of the worse places I have eaten at. The food was cold and undercooked, especially my chicken, which was supposed to be baked, but was swimming in butter. The waitstaff was horrible, the place was dirty. We will never go back there again.
