I started going there a year ago. At first, my stylist was great, and then she started doing everything I did not want done to my hair. Now I look like a freaking skunk and my hair is fried! The people are super rude and think they are the upper crust of society. I got news for you, "It's a stupid salon! Last time I checked you have to cater to society, you are not part of it!" The man at the front desk literally said to me, "Miss, we have organic fresh fruit and Avon water, please do help yourself!" BLAH to Avon water and men that think they are sauve and sleek.

First off, I love the staff! They are so friendly and funny to talk to and they are really great about always remembering me! The selection is amazing and the prices are great! I always try new things when I am there, but I must admit avacado or red bean are absolutely fabulous! Add some bubs or pudding and it's a real treat! They are open late and don't mind if you play games, read magazines, or just enjoy the overally green walls and sweet asian music videos!

I am very torn about this restaurant! The food is delicious, and the portions always leave me bringing home food, however the servers are rude. One time, I ordered for delivery and the total came out to like $8.79 and all I had was $20. The delivery man, who doesn't speak English, was like, "Sorry no change" and I was like well this is all I have! He goes, "I remember you later." Needless to say, he did not remember me later and I was stuck giving him a $11 tip! RIDICULOUS. On a better note...order the Orange Chicken lunch special with egg drop soup, fried rice, and an egg roll! You will love it!

A very classy restaurant, Daniel's Broiler has gorgeous views, a beautiful dining room, and amazing service. The food is delicious, however very expensive. It is the perfect place for a date or celebration and a wonderful atmosphere if you want to dress up. They have valet service, so no need to worry about getting wet from the rain! It is right on the water and it is so fun to sit by the window and watch the sail boats!

The chonga bagels are also great and the seven layer bars are the best! Stay away from the pre-made sandwiches later in the day, as they are not very fresh and do not have a lot of sauce on them!

Burger Hut, is a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant, on the Ave. The staff are absolutely amazing and the food is delicious for a quick eat. It is open late (I think until 4 am or so) and the crowd is always entertaining. The milkshakes are amazing and the burgers are great! It is well worth the money and the walk down the Ave. It's only downfall is the limited seating, but they usually have the windows open which is nice to people watch and enjoy fresh air!

I am not going to lie, Dick's food is probably the all time worst fast food for you, with its super greasy fries and burgers. However, it is ridiculously cheap, tastes good when you are craving greasy food at midnight and it is convient. It is open late which is always a plus for the drunken college students or for people staying up late to finish deadlines. It is also a great place to people watch, some of the most interesting people find themselves going to Dick's. It is definetely a classic Seattle place with a greasy touch!

This restaurant, in the U-Village, is absolutely horrible! The services was bad, the food was not fresh and it was definetely not worth the money spent. The servers acted like they were sauve and cool, but really they were just rude and inconsiderate. I asked for a fork, and the waitress finally came over 15 minutes later and was like, "Uhh, sorry we don't have any forks. But I guess you can try a spoon?!?" While I understand it was a sushi place and people use chopsticks, some people are more comfortable using forks, and no offense but what restaurant, regardless of the cuisine, doesn't have ANY forks! ridiculous. They did not have a very good selection and the service seemed to be oblivious and "too cool for school!" Overall huge disappointment and not worth it.

A great place to dine when you want something quick and convienent but not all the grease of fast food restaurants. For something light try the soft tacos! You get three and yet there isn't too much food. For a bigger feast try a burrito, filled with rice, beans, meat, and all the good salsa and condiments, it is definetely amazing! I reccomend using the corn salsa and the cheese. You can dine in or take it to go (it's kind of like the subway of burritos!) Also, if you are a student at the UW, show them your student ID and you get a free medium size fountain drink.
