Z'Tejas is a great place to enjoy a delicious dinner and drinks. It offers a variety of items and the food is always pippin hot and super good. The quality is always fresh and it is always prepared to the order. I did not like how dark it was in the restaurant (made it difficult to read the menu) but I guess the lighting was used to set a move of a nice upscale type place. I would definitely recommend this place for happy hour and to enjoy the company of your friends. It would be a great place to start a night of dancing and drinking off!

The Melting Pot is a great place for a large group! I would recommend trying a course meal, you get everything from great appetizers to superb desserts. It is a place to go if you want to spend a fabulous night of long dinners and great conversations. Plan for meals to last a long time (like they should) and take in everything the Melting Pot has to offer, you will not regret it! I would not bring young children as the dinner is long and it is a fondue restaurant. Bring a date and make it romantic!

Olive Garden always seems to be a safe restaurant when trying to find something delicious and filling. The food is always up to par and the wait staff is always friendly. They seat late and you never have to wait terribly long. I love the neverending amounts of breadsticks and salad, and the chicken alfredo pizza is so great! Always, go thinking you will have great leftovers for the next day's lunch! A great family and group oriented restaurant, Olive Garden is great, especially for birthdays and fun filled adventures!

Kid Valley is delicious! A great place to go for a quick and filling meal. The have fantastic veggie burgers and I love the grilled cheese! They also have yummy milkshakes and multiple types of french fries (garlic fries get 2 thumbs up). But my absolute favorite food here are the breaded mushrooms. They are so delicious especially with ketchup or ranch dressing! Get your food to go, as I have noticed the dining room is small and there is limited seating for the restaurant that always seems to be packed. Also, the one near the U-District has very very limited parking and no drive thru!

Well I'll start by saying Krispy Kreme is pretty good, but it is not as great as how much it is hyped up. If you get the fresh right out of the oven donuts, than it is absolutely delicious! Also, they give out free donuts late at night, so if you are looking for a late night snack and you are out and about, I would try Krispy Kreme. They have a variety of sprinkle, chocolate, etc. but I have found that the simple glazed donut is the best!

While this place is not the best sushi place around, it is quite delicious. I would recommend this one hundred times over Blue C Sushi. It has so much going for it. Great views, easy parking, delicious rolls: California, Spider, Alaskan, etc. There is a much wider selection than Blue C Sushi, and I think the prices are well worth the fresher quality of the food. It is a great place for a date and it is always fun to share your meals, and what a better way to do that than with sushi!

The typical drive up burger joint. They serve all types of burgers, including veggie burgers. I love the onion rings and the chocolate milkshake. Kind of a fun place to take you back into the old days of the drive up burger joint! Take it to go or eat in your car, it is up to you! They are very quick and the servers are friendly. The only downfall is that it is close to the freeway, not too loud but it does get a lot of traffic.

While Ivars is known as something to visit while in Seattle, you should trully consider going up to Pike Place and eating somewhere up there! Even hike up to Westlake center or Pacific Place and enjoy some of the many restaurants they have to offer.

Unfortunately, I have not found a good bagel shop since I moved up here 2 years ago. While this place is ok, it is definitely not the best. The bagels were kind of stale but I did like the cream cheese. They do have options for vegans but they do not have that much of a selection. If you go early in the morning do expect a line, however you can go when shopping (it is in QFC at U-Village) making it very convienent!

It is great for large groups and families and there is always enough food to go around. They serve everything from burgers and sandwiches to pasta and salads, but my all time favorite are the appetizers! I believe they may even have a happy hour special on half off appetizers or something!
