This is a huge newer bowling alley. Everything is in nice shape but I thought that it was expensive. $5 per person per game. There are alleys in the area that charge half of that amount. And come on, it is still a bowling alley, its nothing special. The way the scoring tables are set up are also uncomfortable. I don’t like the tables so close together. They have a table for every lane, but they are so close together I felt like our group was being crowded by the other two groups near us.
Overall this place is not worth the price.

What a fun restaurant. This place is located in Lahiana Town which is the most bustling spot on Maui. It is an open air restaurant with a fantastic view of the Ocean. There is usually a wait. The burgers pretty ordinary, don’t come with fries and they are expensive. You are paying for the experience. It is a tourist trap, but a fun one. Nothing like a yummy burger after a long day of beaching while the trade winds blow through your hair. It’s a great place for a casual dinner experience.

This court reporting service is fantastic. You can download an icon directly onto your desktop that allows you to fill out an information sheet to schedule a deposition and any additional services you might require (video, conference call, etc). They are quick to respond and make sure your dep will be covered even with short notice. I highly recommend them!

A classic. This location is drive up only, but eatin’ in your car is part of the experience. These burgers are to die for. And don’t miss the super thick milkshakes, they are just what you need to wash it all down. This place is no nonsense and very inexpensive. Be sure to try the chicken sandwich for something different.

This is a restaurant at the new addition to the Alderwood Mall and I am hooked. This is a great place to carbo-load after a long day of shopping. It is always busy at dinner, so if possible make a reservation or try to snag one of the first come first serve seats in the bar. The food is delicious and a little creative for a chain. Give it a try for a yummy post-shopping meal.

Have a craving for ice cream? This will nip your sweet tooth. You pick an ice cream flavor and then any ‘mix in’ you like. I recommend cake batter ice cream with m&ms and Reese’s peanut butter cups. The servings are huge and it is expensive. $5 for a cup of ice cream!? But it is worth every penny and calorie! I do have to say I will always favor the original creator of the idea. The Mix in the U-district and Greenlake has been around since the 70s (though it has had many names over the years). Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.

A family owned Italian restaurant in Belltown. I love this place. It is reasonably priced and the service has always been excellent. It tends to be very busy, even around lunchtime so it is usually a good idea to have a reservation. I highly recommend the gorgonzola raviolis or there specialty risotto. Always good!

This is another one of Tom Douglas’ gems. Love this place. It is Greek food with a Tom Douglas twist to it. The menu price is very inexpensive. For lunch it is about $12 for a salmon kebab, greek salad or red potatoes and pita corners. Yum! Tom Douglas does a good job setting an atmosphere in his restaurants. This one is no exception. High ceilings, great lighting and big booths give it a relaxing yet friendly and inviting atmosphere. Check it out!

This is a great spot for happy hour. Free food! That’s right. If you sit in the bar during happy hour (I believe it goes until 6:30pm) you get complementary appetizers. Okay, the appetizers are pretty ordinary (think bruchetta, mini pizzas, spicy chicken wings) but we are talking about free munchies folks! My friend and I dropped in on happy hour a few weeks ago. We had a couple glasses of wine each and filled up on the free apps for a whopping total of only $16! It can’t be beat!

This is a good spot for happy hour. They do $1.99 sushi plates. Delicious! They also have lots of yummy appetizers priced from about $1.99 to $3.99. The only downside is happy hour ends at 6pm and it is very hard to get a table in the bar during this time. You must get there early in order to get a table. I have had dinner here as well but prefer the happy hour. Service can be questionable at times, but cheap happy hour plates make up for this!
