I used to go to this salon when I was getting acrylic put on my nails. The staff was always very friendly and treated me (and probably everyone else!) like I was their favorite customer. The owner always did my nails and always did a great job. She was such a sweetheart and took such pride in her nail salon. They recently expanded and have a great pedicure setup now.

My husband and I have been going to this vision center since we moved to the area. There is a group of optometrists who work at the center rotating days during the week. When I went to make an appointment for my first checkup, they were very accommodating and were actually able to take care of me right at that moment. Prices are reasonable and service is great. They also have a pretty good selection of glasses. There are a lot of optometrists in our area and this place is probably the cleanest.

My husband and I have been here for brunch and dinner. On both occasions, the restaurant didn't have enough staff working so our waiter was very busy with other tables. The food was ok but nothing special. The burgers and sandwiches don't come with fries so I'd say the food was a little overpriced for the quality you actually got. The atmosphere is similar to a pub.

I've always enjoyed coming to this lively Mexican restaurant. It's normally very crowded, so be sure to make reservations at least a day in advance. My only complaint is that on days they are very busy, they try to turn over the tables very quickly. We actually had a waiter tell us to either order more drinks or leave as they needed the table. Besides that, I've always liked the place. The margaritas are good and strong. Try the sopapillas for dessert; they are delicious!

It's a pretty loud and crowded family style Italian place. I recommend having reservations as this place is pretty much always crowded. I would also recommend coming here with at least four people so you can order a few dishes and share. If you only go with two people, one dish is too much food yet not enough variety. The Bellini's are fantastic and the sangria is pretty good too. There's a giagantic brownie sundae which is great served warm; if of course you still have room!

The ambiance does not fade into the background as one would expect during dinner. You're surrounded by dark, bold colors, interesting chairs and tables, and lots of large melting candles. The restaurant only has about 10 tables. The empanadas were very good; spicy and flavorful. The steak is ordered by the oz, with a minimum of (I believe) 10 oz. The steak was delicious and priced about what you would expect from a nice steak place. The appetizers and side dishes were very expensive and the portions were small, however, they were very delicious.

This is a tiny hole in the wall sushi place that barely holds 20 people. The fish is brought in every week on Sunday so it's best to go to Poke on Monday or Tuesday when the fish is freshest. I think the price is pretty average. There are not many specialty rolls, which disappointed me. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't serve any alcohol; it's bring your own beer/wine.

This is one of the nicest nail salons for your money on the Upper East Side. The atmosphere is very fresh and calming, with soft colors, potted plants, massage chairs, and interesting architecture. I've had several different people do my nails and each person did a wonderful job. There's a sign on the door saying they offer use of the salon for parties.

The place is pretty small but hardly ever so crowded you can't get a table. Overall, nothing special but good food.
