My husband and I have been here for brunch and dinner. On both occasions, the restaurant didn't have enough staff working so our waiter was very busy with other tables. The food was ok but nothing special. The burgers and sandwiches don't come with fries so I'd say the food was a little overpriced for the quality you actually got. The atmosphere is similar to a pub.

I've used three different stylists from this salon and all have done great jobs with my hair. All the stylists gave advice when I asked them for their ideas. They worked quickly but were very attentive. The atmosphere is contemporary with loud music playing throughout the shop. I pay about $65 for cut, wash and blow dry which seems to be pretty good for NYC prices.

I used to go to this salon when I was getting acrylic put on my nails. The staff was always very friendly and treated me (and probably everyone else!) like I was their favorite customer. The owner always did my nails and always did a great job. She was such a sweetheart and took such pride in her nail salon. They recently expanded and have a great pedicure setup now.

I used this tanning salon before my beach vacation. The facilities are very sleek and contemporary; definitely causing the steep prices you pay to use them. They offer the latest full size flat and stand up beds. I totally recommend the level 1-5 lotions that you can purchase separately. I tried tanning with and without the lotions and could definitely tell a difference.

I like going to this card shop for unique cards and wrapping paper. Le Brea has a large selection of wrapping paper and gift bags in the back of the shop. The front of the shop carries a cute selection of unique gifts (mugs, soaps, small stuffed animals, magnets, books, etc.) The shop also carries a variety of photo albums and scrapbooks which are on the pricey side.

This grocery store is my favorite in the city for reasonable prices and a decent selection of products. The deli selection of fresh meats and cheeses is pretty good and not overpriced for Manhattan standards. On the down side, I think the bakery leaves a lot to be desired. The store offers home delivery and online shopping from home. They seem to allow some parts of their stock (ex. bread) to get down to practically nothing occasionally. Overall, I like the store.

My husband and I regularly shop at this store for wine and vodka. They offer friendly service and good specials. The staff actually has wine knowledge and can assist in picking the perfect wine. The shop has wine tastings frequently and offer specials on the bottles they are tasting. The vodka section is second to none in the area.

My husband and I have been going to this vision center since we moved to the area. There is a group of optometrists who work at the center rotating days during the week. When I went to make an appointment for my first checkup, they were very accommodating and were actually able to take care of me right at that moment. Prices are reasonable and service is great. They also have a pretty good selection of glasses. There are a lot of optometrists in our area and this place is probably the cleanest.

I've shopped at this convieniently located toy/clothing store for my niece & nephew's birthday and Christmas gifts. While the toys are priced much higher than Toys R Us or Walmart, the location is much better. The selection isn't very extensive but they consisently stock the hottest toys and the best brands. Planet Kids also has a small selection of gift wrap and bags.

It's a pretty loud and crowded family style Italian place. I recommend having reservations as this place is pretty much always crowded. I would also recommend coming here with at least four people so you can order a few dishes and share. If you only go with two people, one dish is too much food yet not enough variety. The Bellini's are fantastic and the sangria is pretty good too. There's a giagantic brownie sundae which is great served warm; if of course you still have room!
