Best italian food!

Thursday, September 01, 2005
The Bastianich family's (owners of Felidia and Frico) comfortable Restaurant Row outpost has three different dining areas. An old-fashioned bar, stenciled ceilings, and wooden beams give the dining room up front a warm and cheery feeling. In back, the greenish, pavilion room with louvered-windows is smaller and more feminine, and the upstairs dining room, with its neutral colors and a gilt-stenciled ceiling, is more hushed and formal. Becco's menu features C'sar salads, and antipasti, as well as "sinfonia di paste"- unlimited servings of the three pastas of the day, swordfish with barolo balsamic sauce, stuffed peppers, pheasant, venison, and a 30 oz. porterhouse steak. This place dishes up Italian dishes. There is a prix-fixe menu.
