This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in NYC. We tried the tasting menu and we were lavished with gourmet dishes which were artfully blended and accompanied with the perfect wine selections. The service was phenomenal and made the night truly special. The menu is very expensive but it is worth it particularly if you are celebrating a special occasion.

This is one of my favorite places to get Indian takeout in the midtown west/hell's kitchen area. The food is flavorful and tastes authentic is not watered down like some of the other restaurants in the area. The bhindi and biryani dishes are particulary tasty!

Come in the summer and linger on the rooftop lounge which is filled with large, comfortable beds where scantily clad women dressed to the nine sip on their drinks. If you are looking for people watching then this is the place for you. Also, a fun place to come with a group. Sometimes the atmosphere can be a bit too pretentious but still worth the effort.

The burgers here are not bad but they are nothing to rave about. There have been a few occasions when I have ordered and the burger has been either too raw or overcooked. However, when they do get it right then the bacon burger with fries is always a satisfying lunch. The salads here with grilled chicken are also good. Burger Heaven does not compare to Island Burger though.
