We used Etherson Travel to book our honeymoon in Jamaica at a Sandals resort. The honeymoon was great and so was Etherson. They were really willing to work with our budget and give us a lot of bang for our buck. The service was very personal and friendly. I'd use them again to book our next big vacation!

Hibachi Factory seems to be a Knoxville phenomenon and I love it! It's American-style Japanese right to your door. We have ordered beef or chicken teriyaki, served with rice and glazed carrots! Yum! The teriyaki is served with a delicious sauce on the side. The prices are very reasonable and the delivery has always been lightning fast! Enjoy!

Knoxville's hometown pizzeria is pretty good. Stefano's gives you a choice of white or wheat (for the health-conscious) and serves up a tasty pizza with fresh ingredients. I'm not usually a fan of Chicago-style pizzas, but Stefano's does it right. The atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable and the food is quite delicious.

Bravo is where we go for our special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It is a first class restaurant that is well-managed and has a great menu. You can get classic Italian dishes (which are fantastic) or some of the signature dishes like Shrimp Diavolo or Twin Filets. Every dish we've tried, from salads and appetizers right to the dessert course, is fantastic. Like any great Italian restaurant, there is a great selection of wines!

Because of a bad experience with a server at Calhoun's, we almost never went back. However, the great entrées and appetizers enchanted us and we gave it a second chance. Boy are we glad we did! The service was wonderful and the food to die for. I have to recommend their ribs (not quite Memphis quality, but good nevertheless). Also their white bean chili is quite yummy. A good selection of beers from a microbrewery and a great atmosphere, especially at the "On the River" location.

I received a gift certificate for Oasis Day Spa as an anniversary present. It was the best anniversary ever! I was treated to a relaxing day of manicure, pedicure, and full massage. The staff was very professional and kind and did a wonderful job. When scheduling a massage, I was able to select the gender of my therapist, which I always appreciate. A truly enjoyable day.

There is an excellent children's book section and there is usually a good selection of cd's to choose from. Don't go to McKay's if you're in a rush - you'll need lots of time to look around.

As for the food, if you like an eclectic mix of Mediterranean, Jamaican, and Tex-Mex, you'll love it. There are plenty of vegetarian and carnivorous options on the menu that is flavorful and unique. This restaurant, though tucked away in a strip mall, is full of personality! It's a great spot for a date or a casual gathering. There is usually a good crowd there, but we've always been seated quickly. The food, Mexican standards, is very flavorful and authentic. You have to taste the margaritas!
