While you may not think of going to the zoo in a city, the Pittsburgh zoo is a wonderful place. There are lots of animals and many things to do. They even have a wonderful area where younger children are able to play with some animals.
My favorite place in the zoo is the monkey house, what can I say I have a soft place in my heart for monkeys. They are fun to watch swinging from tree to tree and some of them even like to come close to the glass and say hello.
All in all the zoo is full of many hours of entertainment for your dollar. They even have a wonderful African Safari exhibit. All the animals look happy and healthy. The grounds are wonderfully kept and new expierences wait around every corner.
