Its a nice little ride to get there.....its on a rural route and you pass two farmstands to get there.......be sure to stop at the two farms either on your way there or going back! The flea mkt itself is nice because the dealers are set up under the shade of the pine trees for the most part. There are actually four or five snack bars. The flea mkt is on both sides of the street. Its actually a couple of flea mkts combined. There is something for everyone.....new stuff, yard sale stuff, antiques, just everything.. A fun place to stroll and browse.

There is a cute animal petting area for children. Lots of picnic tables and a small play area. Perfect for young families. They have seasonal pick your own fruits like strawberries, peaches, and apples. Nice local farm.

Lancaster Flea mkt is a huge place! Great place to spend a Sunday morning. They are open all year.....they have vendors outdoors in the mild weather. There is aisle after aisle of dealers.......you will find anything and everything here. There are many antiques dealers and there are also many dealers who sell handmade items, dollar items, food, baked goods, and more. They have a huge snack bar with lots of picnic tables (this is all inside). The building is a newer, clean place. The rest rooms are extremely clean and they are manned by an attendant (at least the ladies room did).

You need to come here early during the summer....the place is filled with browsers. They open at dawn. By ten o'clock its hard to even find a parking spot. By one o'clock the dealers are already packing up their stuff. The dealers mostly sell antiques, but you can find an occasionally seller of plants, honey, dollar items, clothing, yard sale stuff. There is always something for someone. There are one or two small food vendors....and there is always the old fashioned snack bar where you can grab a drink and a dog. When you get hot and tired.........you can grab a seat on the bench that circles around the huge old oak tree.

You can find delicious cheeses and salads, and sandwiches in their deli case. They sell wonderful packages of marinated meats, and you can buy a roast there. There are many small gifts to choose from like soaps, or beauty products. There is an upstairs sections that sell country style giftware and handmade items. Outside there are a few animals......maybe not for petting though...one is a huge buffalo! Nice place to browse around.....

Yummies Candies in Kittery is a super place! You name the candy and they probably have it. They have candy from floor to ceiling. Rows and rows of it. Most of the candy is sold in approx 1/4 lb sized bags. They have all the old penny candies, and the newer kinds like gummies. Oh and they have nuts, chocolate covered, etc too. They have seasonal favorites. I absolutely go overboard here. A really fun place!

They also sometimes will have film a day devoted to one old movie star or sometimes they might have a day of Loonie toones cartoons and so on. It varies. A small theater. A lot of the college crowd packs the theater. Everyone in the audience had a ball when we went.....the audience laughed or clapped at particular scenes in the movie.......

They have great apple cider, apple pies, etc. A particular favorite in the fall season. Other times of the year, you can also get seasonal fruits and veggies. They also have a small gift section with soaps, toys, candies. They also sell their own wines made from fruits. They offer wines samples for you to try. They have a little animal petting area too.

This is a super produce store. The prices at Oh Busters are great. They have big deals on seasonal veggies and fruits. The quality is sometimes so-so....you need to really look the produce over. I realize that alot of comes from local farms...so some veggies or fruits may have natural blemishes to them. They may not be as pretty as the supermarket ones.....but they sure taste good. They have a few bakery items, but primarily its all produce.

This is a small little garden center on Highland Ave. They carry just about everything you would need though. They have annuals,perrenials, shrubs, veggies, etc. Garden tools, mulch and more. Its a great place if you do not want to travel very far. Small little lot. The selection may not be as big as some of the other local garden centers or dept stores but they have a fair variety. A nice local business.
