This is a very popular place. Its kind of a pub look with the bar in the middle. Dining is on one side and on the other side of bar is a dance floor. Music begins about 9 in the evenings. The menu tends to be limited with salads, pasta meals, seafood, and a few specials like stirfrys. They serve some individual pizzas also. They don't have any steak tips or burgers though.. Sure wish they would get a burger on the menu! Plenty of parking in their large lot...

We happened upon S & S restaurant and we loved it! We went in on a Sunday and the place was packed! They serve breakfast most of the day, plus they have a great lunch and dinner menu. They have alot of foods like burgers and ,etc. We ordered their deli corned beef sandwiches.....came with fries and a pickle. I also got their homemade potato salad. It was packed......yet there was no wait....its a huge place with lots of seating. They have a deli case in the front where you can buy meats, food by the pound too. I can't wait to go back.......

Right now there is no place with fish that is not expensive, and C & C' s fish IS very expensive but they it is better fish than from a supermarket. I like to buy lobsters from them in the summer,...
Right now there is no place with fish that is not expensive, and C & C' s fish IS very expensive but they it is better fish than from a supermarket. I like to buy lobsters from them in the summer, because you can have them steam them ahead of time and take them home all ready to eat. They also sell some precooked meals in their deli case. And they have potato salad and cole slaw to take home. There is a small selectiion of candy and baked goods to choose from too.

One day I needed to have a painting framed.....and I chose Ideal frame. The clerk was very helpful in assisting me to find the right frame. I was able to find one that was very affordable, as I did not want to spend a whole lot of money. The finished picture was done in about two days. They do very nice work. We even ended up having another one framed by them. I would certainly use them again when the need arises.

Newman's is a busy bakery.....they too have been in business for a number of years. They have all the usual baked goods from pies, to breads, rolls, cakes, pastries and more. Its very clean from the outside to the inside. Parking is on the street and its usually not too hard to find a space. I think all of their baked goods are quite delicious!

This business has hundreds of dealers. The dealers are basically all on one floor.....except the ones in the back which may be down a step..... There is always a wonderful array of items from china, to goblets, furniture, vintage clothing....collectibles. These are higher end antiques,,,,not just your yard sale fare. Parking is either on the street (meter parking) or they do have a parking lot on the side street but its a one way street so you do have to go down one street and come back up it to access the lot.....all in all, a nice place.

Cambridge antiques center is a wonderful place for browsing. They have four floors of things to look at!! On each floor there is an attendant who is at the ready to help you and open a locked case for you if you want to see something in particular. I found the layout to be very good and the merchandise was fresh. There is a little something for every collector. There is a small snack bar on about the third floor up, if I remember correctly. Nice place in an old factory building.....

She carries alot of Salem souvenier items. There is some jewelry, toys, candies, etc. I found it fun to browse around in and I am a local!!

Gagnons is one of few remaining cobbler shops,,,,as we used to call them. He got in the business from his father. Beside repairing soles on shoes or tears in your favorite leather shoes, he will also repair handbags, replace a zipper on a handbag or fix the strap. Great place to repair your expensive shoes or bags rather than discarding them. He can probably do other repairs that I am not aware of too.....just ask him about something you need to have repaired, I am sure he will be able to help you.
