yes, this place is a great place for browsing for that certain book. They always have a wonderful selection of sale books. There is usually something under every subject among the markdowns.....you can pick up some very nice selections for bargain prices. They are also great for ordering books that they don't have in stock.....they can pretty much get any title you need.

They were kind of like a deep dish pizza and you needed a fork and knife to eat them! They wraps looked quite delicious, although we havent tried any yet. There are ample tables to eat in....there are a few near the ordering counter and plenty more in the loft above. However, on a hot day....we found the loft tables way too hot to eat at......I think there was an AC up there,........either it wasnt working properly or what I can't remember... Anyway,,,,,,,,the food here is pretty good!

I got the chicken salad sandwich which was overly stuffed with chicken salad. My hubby got the corned beef which was equally stuffed. Both came with a pickle.......chips would have been exta.. (by the bag). The hot entrees, of every kind......like chicken, fish, looked very appealing too! Whatever you order comes up immediately. The restaurant decor is older.....could use a facelift.....but it was pretty clean. The restrooms desperately could use some sprucing up.......they were old and dirty "looking" inside.

Its definitely not the zoo we went to as we were growing up. All the animals are gone....no apes....I don't even think the elephant or giraffe are there anymore. They have added some new...
Its definitely not the zoo we went to as we were growing up. All the animals are gone....no apes....I don't even think the elephant or giraffe are there anymore. They have added some new pathways....along these paths are different sections with new "animals"....if you want to call a lizard or snake in a glass case an animal. Also there are mountain lions, reindeer, jaguars, coyotes (like,,,,we need a zoo to see these....we see them in the city now! :). The flamingos are still there though. There is also an area of eductional displays which the child can touch. I didnt find that the kids found them very "fun" though...... Still, all in all, if you have young children I am sure they will enjoy it very much. However, if you or your kids are expecting a big variety of animals........then head out to the Franklin Park Zoo....which is much, much, much better!

Whenever we come to Newport we always stop in here. It is a pretty big place. There are hundreds of consignment dealers. Here you will find just about anything you may collect......from old telephones, to books, to porcelain, to sea faring antiques, to glassware, and much, much more. There are also two other dealer shops to the left and to the right as you come in the door. Its in an old Armory building...hence their name! They also have restrooms in the building. If you are really into antiques.....it will take you quite a while to go through the whole place! Enjoy!

Even if you only have time to tour one or two of the mansions....you just can't make a visit to Newport without seeing one! They offer tickets to see all of the mansions or you can get admission to...

They offer tickets to see all of the mansions or you can get admission to just one or two. I recommend putting the Breakers on your list......this is the largest one I think. They are all awesome in their own right.....each mansion has something special to offer. All are breathtaking! I also especially like Elms too... If time allows.....go out of town and take a tour of the Topiary gardens also a part of the Mansion Society.....they have extraordinary topiaries of animals and lovely flowers and shrubs to look at.

Wells Reserves has acres of walking trails in a wonderfully protection wildlife reserve. The trails take you through several different environments.....one goes through fields, another takes you right down to the beach...another takes you through the woods via wooded trails and boardwalks. There are numerous benches along the way and there are quite a few informative signs letting you know which wildlife might be in a particular section. They offer special field classes....you can find a schedule on the kiosk at the front of the reserve. There is a small gift shop with nature books, etc. They charge a small fee to enter. There are also a few picnic tables. No snack bar though. Very nice place to walk and take the family....

Very popular with the tourist staying in the area. Service is friendly and fast. They do close up for the day around 1 or 2 o'clock. They seem to be busiest on the weekends obviously..

I love Wrentham Village outlets....it has such a lovely atmosphere. Although it is not an enclosed shopping mall.....there are plenty of benches to sit on while waiting for a friend or spouse.. ...
I love Wrentham Village outlets....it has such a lovely atmosphere. Although it is not an enclosed shopping mall.....there are plenty of benches to sit on while waiting for a friend or spouse.. They have quite an array of shops....from kids clothing, womens, men's, shoe stores, kitchen stores, candy shops, bookstores, electronic stores, and more. Lots of brand name stores that you won't find at your local mall. Plan on spending a greater part of the day here....there is so much to see!!

The menu consists of all kinds of burgers...swiss cheese, american cheese, mushroom burgers, etc. They also have many wrap sandwiches to choose from, plus soups and salads. You can also choose to add the salad buffet to your meal for a slight extra cost. If you go on a weekend.....I recommend calling and making a reservation as it is a very popular place with the shoppers and you will probably have to wait 20 minutes or so for a table.......but its worth it!
