Brighthouse Network is our only choice for cable internet on the beach. While I do enjoy the speed of Cable Internet, the service is not reliable. In a light wind (which happens often), our signal goes out and we are without internet for several hours. I also do not like that wireless networking must be done through the company...and must be installed, at a high price, by their technicians. The monthly fee goes up by $14.95 a month! You cannot buy a router and do it yourself.

Our children have been visiting Idaigna Alvarez, DMD at Brevard Pediatric Dental for the past year...with excellent results and service. So far they have only had sealants and routine checkups. The first visit included a short class on brushing teeth, flossing and what to expect at the dentist office. It really helped to put their minds at ease. They were also given little goodie bags which included stickers, toothbrush, mouthwash, floss and more! there is something to be said for sticking with Pediatric Dentists when dealing with children.

We were driving down A1A when our Chevy trailblazer was rear ended by a car full of teenage girls. They were looking out the window and not paying attention to traffic. The bumpers of both vehicles were totally destroyed, though their car faired far worse. I bought my TrailBlazer to Bob Steele Chevrolet Body Shop to have the Insurance repair work done. Not only was the vehicle completed ahead of schedule, but it looked flawless! They did an excellent job of restoring my vehicle to pre-accident condition. The whole experience was very low hassle and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Last year, my son did an extensive science project involving different plants. We had trouble locating the same type and size of a variety of plants. One stop to South Brevard Nursery solved our dilemma! The staff worked very hard to find exactly what our son needed. This required quite a bit of legwork on their part! They saved the day and helped our son to earn an A on his project. I will definitely return in the future!

I am currently a student at BCC, working towards my AA degree. I have found the bookstore to be less than helpful when it comes to required course material. Twice I have purchased the wrong book for a course, because of the bookstore labeling. They also have a problem with stocking issues. often, I must travel between bookstores (BCC is a multi-campus college) to find the correct material. The staff is generally friendly enough, but the organization and stock leave something to be desired.

I am currently a Brevard Community College student, working towards a BS degree. I am using the distance learning online Blackboard program to earn my AA degree. I like that the University of Central Florida works closely with BCC to allow an easy transfer in the junior year. They offer valuable and wonderful services, included smartlearning (an excellent tutoring service online).

PD Penguins is a very interesting concept, an ice rink and arcade all in one. The reality is not as "cool". The rink is small and unsafe for the casual young user. The side rails are at chin and neck height for both front and back falls. They are not cushioned in any way, just hard material. No outside food is permitted, so snacks and meals must be purchased on site. They are overpriced, but they do offer a wide variety. This includes a wide variety of items offered at a healthier salad bar. The games are entertaining, but children run through tokens quickly.
I give a very low rating for the safety issues with the ice rink.
