“good for basic needs”

Matt's Music is a pretty small store that doesn't carry very many instruments. It is very convenient for musicians in the area to be able to stop by when they need things like guitar picks, strings and cables, but they have a very small selection of guitars. If you're picky, you're not likely to find an instrument here that you want to buy. You're better off going online to a site like musiciansfriend.com or americanmusicalsupply.com that has a huge selection and the lowest prices. They also offer lessons in the back. The employees are nice, but like many music store employees, may try to get you to buy something more expensive than you need if you clearly don't know what you're talking about or what you need.
