WIth its family-style serving option ($25/person) Maggiano's is a great place for group dining. You are allowed to select at least 3 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 pastas, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. Everything is served on large platters to be passed around. Since refills are unlimited, there is always plenty of food left over to be taken home. In general, the family-style dining is a good value and lots of fun, and it's a great way to try a bunch of different dishes.

I found Morton's to be overrated. My meal was good, but given their repuation and prices, I expected better. My filet was cooked to the right temperature on the inside (medium-rare), but the outside was definitely burnt (way beyond the normal charring that typically occurs). Everything else I had there was decent, but nothing special. Try Keefers instead.

I had a great time at this museum. We went on a Friday, hoping that it wouldn't be as crowded on a weekday, but it was still really crowded. There were many great hands-on exhibits, and it seemed like it would be a great place to take kids. Highlights included the chick hatchery, the toy assembly line where you could pay $3 to watch your own toy being made, and the Omnimax. We happened to go while the BodyWorlds exhibit was in town, which was amazing. Although controversial, it was a fascinating and powerful exhibit (especially the prenatal development section). I would also suggest trying to buy any tickets to exhibits, Omnimax, etc., ahead of time on the internet, because lines at the museum can be long, and the viewing times tend to sell out pretty quickly.

Santullo's is the only place that I've been able to find in Chicago with decent New York style pizza (I'm originally from NY). The prices aren't bad either. You could get a slice for $3.25 during regular hours, or for $2 during happy hours (4-6pm). They also offer salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes, but the pizza is so good that I have never tried any of them.

I love Coco Pazzo. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere and service. I have never been disappointed with a meal there. My favorite dish is probably the gnocchi, but I also love the tartufo for dessert (it's one of only a handful of places I have been able to find it in Chicago). The food itself is reasonablly priced, although the bill can add up with drinks. There is also outdoor seating available during the warmer months.

The selection of dresses is decent at Exclusives. Several major bridal designers are represented, and the dresses start of at about $2000+. They service, however, is terrible. They failed to meet each deadline that had been set, and there was almost a complete lack of communication on their part. I received the swatches almost 3 months later than I was supposed to, and the dress came in 2 months late (barely making it in in time for the wedding). What I found most annoying though was that I could never reach anyone. Each time that I called to check on the status of the swatches/dress, they would take a message and not call back. This caused even more problems when they mistakenly charged me twice for the deposit. It took almost a month before I could finally reach someone to credit my card. Although everything eventually turned out okay and I loved my dress, the customer service definitely made it not worth the hassle. I definitely expected better service for $3500.
(As a sidenote:
When I started to have problems with them, I researched them a little bit on the internet and found out that they have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau)
