This place is top-notch. Great food, good drinks, and a zillion flat screen TVs to watch the action. Back in the 70s, the owner started the first sports bar in the U. S. called Legends in the Belmont Shore section of Long Beach, sold it years ago, and has now bought it back. When done remodeling the original Legends, he'll probably rename Smooths to Legends on Pine or something like that. Meanwhile, it's a great bar right in the middle of all the action on a great street in downtown Long Beach. A terrific place for dinner, drinks, or hanging out on a weekend afternoon.
