Recently we were looking to replace all the windows in our house and an acquaintance recommedned Stephen Genova. So I gave him a call and a few days later he came to the house to give us an estimate. He was a very nice man and spent over an hour at our house, carefully measuring all the windows and asking lots of questions. When he left he told us that he would call us in a few days with an estimate. However, he never called us back. I called and left messages for him a humber of times, but I never heard back. It was such a waste of his time and our time. I do understand that he is busy, but at least a phone call to say that he couldn't do it would have been appreciated.

I have used Coach Tours many times to transport students on various trips. Some of the trips were local but others were long trips to different states. It is stressful planning trips with students involved but Coach Tours made it easier. The buses are very nice and the drivers are incredible. They know exactly where to go and are so safe and careful.
Just to give you an idea on how loved our bus driver to Boston was for a group of 30 sixteen year olds. Without any prompting from the teachers, the students on the trip collected over $200 to give to the driver as an extra tip because they loved him so much. They are wonderful and they are the only busing company that I would use!

We recently used Corbalis Movers to move all the contents from our condo to our new house across town. I can't begin to say how easy they made the move. All the moving men were kind and so careful with all our stuff. They did a great job moving the furniture up a very tricky staircase and did it without scratching a thing. Nothing was broken, not even one dish. Also they were great at working with us. We had trouble with our move in dates and they were so accommodating with storing our things overnight. Besides being skilled movers their prices were incredible. They were $1000 less then the next lowers estimate. Fortunately we will never move again but on the rare chance that we do, Corbalis would be our first call. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who needs a mover.

Reently I was in search of a baptism outfit for my son and a friend recommended Sacred Heart. So I stopped in and was completely surprised how large the store was and how much they carried. They had a large selection of baptism and communion outifts in all sizes and price ranges. They also carried a large number of religous goods, like statues and jewelry.
Also if you are looking for religious music, you will find a large selection here. The staff was very helpful and helped me find the perfect baptism outfit for my son. I was very happy with Sacred Hear and will definitely visit them again.

Chestnut Ridge Racquet Club is a small club that only houses tennis and squash courts, you won't find any fitness area here. But that is what makes the club so special, it specializes in tennis and tennis is what they are so good at. The indoor and outdoor courts are beautifully maintained and its a joy to play tennis there. I can't say enough good things about the pros, especially Bob, I never met a pro who loves tennis as much as he does. The pros are patient and have improved my tennis game tremendously. Also if you are looking for a program for children, this is the place to go. My children absolutely loved their tennis camp, they became excellent tennis players and loved every minute they were there. The club also provides croos club competition which is so important in improving their tennis game. I love Chestnut Ridge.

It took me a few years to find the perfect plumbers and I finally found them, Buccheri Plumbing is a small plumbing company where all the plumbers are highly skilled and very nice. They also come when they say there are going to come, which is very rare in today's home fix it world. They have been to us for a number of projects including a new hot water heater, a leaky toilet and frozen pipes. Each time the plumbers were nice and found the problem right away and fixed it quickly. They are very neat and take the time to explain what they are doing and what needs to be done. I found their prices to be very fair, much cheaper than other plumbers I used in the past. It turns out that many of my neighbors use them also and everyone love them. Definitely call Buccheri if you need a plumber.

Barton's is not just an apple orchard is a day of fun. Barton Orchards is huge and offers everything from apples to baked goods to fruits and vegetables. The best time to go is on the weekends in the fall, it is a huge fall festival. They charge a minimal amount for parking but it gets you access to the farm. Once inside, you will find all different kinds of goods to buy. Also they have a great huge playground set for the kids. The kids love playing on the playset that is shaped like a train set and boat. They also have a little farm and who can pass up the pony rides. They provide free hayrides which take you to the apple and pumpkin fields. Once at the field you can purchase a bag so you pick your own apples. They have so many different varieties. The apples are delicious and its so much fun to be able to pick your own. We go every fall and as soon as they start school, they start asking when are we going to Bartons. Take a trip there, its so much fun!

Amber Lighting is located in the Walmart shopping center in Danbury. Although it appears small from the outside, this store is jam packed with thousands of different light fixtures. I was amazed by their selection, they have lighting for every room of your house. I was looking for a specific light for my daughter's room that I saw on line. They had it there and it was 20% cheaper at Amber than anywhere I saw it online.
I can't fail to mention the salespeople. They are incredible and truly know lighting. They have so much information and it was an absolute pleasure shopping there and I will definitely be back there soon.

When you get into the Northen NY suburbs its rare to find a taxi anywhere, but luckily there is Al's Taxi. Al's is located right across from the Croton Falls train station and they are great there. If you ever come home late from the train they are there to take you home or if you are having car troubles and need to get somewhere, they will get you there. The drivers are all nice and the prices are fair. So if you are ever in a pinch and you need a ride, call Al's Taxi because they will be there to get you where you need to go.

I recently started seeing Dr. Bhatt upon a recommendation from an acquaintance. He is part of the Katonah Medical Group but in the Somers satelite office. I have been there twice now, once for a very bad cold and then for a complete checkup. He is a very nice man, who is soft-spoken and a great listener. He took a lot of time to listen to my concerns and wanted to be sure that he knew everything about me. The physical was very thorough and they were quick to get back to me with the results. Also his nurse Deirdre is exceptional. I am very happy that I finally found a doctor that I like and that I can trust. He also works out of Northern Westchester Hospital which is the best hospital around.
