Like many of the malls in San Diego, this mall is open-air -- no roof. This is a small mall, not many stores and is never crowded. There is plenty of parking available. This mall is a bit out of the way, so unless there is a store there that you specifically want something from, you're probably better off going elsewhere. It's not a bad mall, just not a lot to offer.

Surfing is a big thing in Ocean Beach and this is the place to go to get a personal taste of it. They offer lessons at a very reasonable rate. They also sell equipment and rent it in their shop. The instructors are well trained and can teach you the basics easily. There are frequently local surfers hanging around in the shop. It's a fun place to stop in, whether you're a novice or more advanced.

If you're at Ocean Beach and you see the tiny little shack way down at the end of the fishing pier, that's this restaurant. You've got to walk to the end of the pier to get here, but it is definitely worth it. The view is amazing and anywhere you sit is good because there's windows all over the restaurant. There is very limited seating, but I've never had to wait. The food is very tasty, I'm particularly fond of the nachos. Everything is fresh and the employees are friendly. Next time you're in OB, take the walk and enjoy yourself.

Although it's called the San Diego Brewing Company, they really have a lot to offer besides the beer. They do offer a huge assortment of beers, but they are a family restaurant with really good food. The prices are a little high, but you get large portions. The employees are friendly and upbeat and the atmosphere is nice.

The store is well stocked and also very organized. It's easy to find what you need without a lot of searching. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here, but in the area it's a good place to stop for beer.

They clean comforters and also rugs, which is nice because it is hard to find cleaners that do these large items. They are always smiling and friendly when you go in the store.

The food is not the best, usually tastes rather bland, but is edible. The restaurant is clean. The employees are friendly. This is a good place to take the family for a cheap, easy meal.

I bought my car from this dealership and it was a good experience. They offered a fair price for the vehicle. The salesmen were friendly and helpful, but not overly pushy. I was not pressured into buying a vehicle, which was nice. I was able to browse through the lot, test drive a couple different cars and ask questions to come to my decision, hassle-free. The salesmen were very knowledgeable.

This is one of my top choices for breakfast in San Diego. It's a quiet little restaurant and easy to miss, but well worth stopping by. Everything they make is homemade from scratch and tastes fabulous. They use fresh ingredients, which really makes a difference in taste, especially with fruit. They are always friendly and never too busy, even on the weekends. My favorite thing about the restaurant is that they offer fresh squeezed orange juice and it is truly fresh squeezed and divine. The prices are low and you get a lot of food.

San Diego Zoo is the best zoo I have ever been to, in all of the world. The animals are very well kept. The zoo has strived to make their habitats as close to natural as possible and it shows. The enclosures are spacious and open air when possible. It is difficult to see the zoo in one day, as it is so large. I recommend coming two days in a row. If you only have one day, take the bus ride, it will show you the highlights of the zoo, but you'll still miss a lot of things. The pandas are amazing to see, you can get right up close to them, but sometimes there is a wait to see them, since they only allow a limited number of viewers at a time. The zoo has a fantastic reptile house with dozens of different species. The polar bears are great to watch and can frequently be seen swimming and playing. The animals always seem content at this zoo and it's evident that they are well loved and cared for. As far as shopping and dining go, the gift store are horribly overpriced, but some things can only be bought at the gift shops. If you don't have a lot of spare money, just don't even go in and look. I would not recommend eating at the zoo, the food is really not very tasty and is very expensive. Your best bet is to leave midday, get your hand stamped for re-entry and go somewhere else to eat. This is a good idea, not only to get better food and save some money, but midday in San Diego can get quite hot and a lot of the animals like to take to the shade and nap while the sun is hot.
