A Few of My Favorite Things is another treasure hiding at Seaport Village. This store has a good selection of collectibles, knick knacks and trinkets. It would be a wonderful place to pick up a souvenir, but is really a great place to buy a nice gift. The employees are friendly and helpful and will take the time to help you pick out the perfect gift.

They have so mnay items for sale that are manufactured specifically to make it easier for left handed people to use. The prices are low and the employees are friendly. Definitely a nice place to stop in and pick something up for the “lefty” in your life.

San Diego has all of its museums in one convenient location downtown. You could easily spend days here and still not see all that there is to see. One of my personal favorites are the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, where you can catch the latest IMAX film and do hands on activities. I also love the Museum of Man for its fantastic mummy exhibits. The grounds of Balboa are beautiful to walk, with many gardens well tended.

The Wild Animal Park is a great way to spend the day, but make sure you have a whole day to spend there. It is a bit of a drive to get there and parking costs $6. There is plenty of parking, but it fills up fast on the weekends. The Wild Animal Park has some great exhibits and the elephant show is great! Walking the park is tiring in the hot sun, since the park is very hilly. If you're not up for all of the exercise, take the train ride. The train ride allows you to see most of the park without having to walk around and is very informative.

They are very helpful and give you the best rate they can. There is limited parking, but they are never busy. This is not the best insurance, but if you're in a pinch, it will do.

You can get a dozen donuts pretty cheap and they have a good variety, including cake donuts, which are sometimes hard to find. My favorite thing to get is a giant croissant. They make them fresh daily and they're flaky and buttery and perfect. They also sell coffee.
