San Diego has a few different options for restaurants similar to this one and this is the last one I would choose. Food is served family-style here, but you're responsible for getting everything else besides food for yourself. The food doesn't taste all that great. The employees didn't seem to care about the customers one way or the other. The food cost way too much for the quality and service.

This is one of those little restaurants that you've driven by a thousand times and wondered if the food was any good. Well, it is! I was in the area and hungry and decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did -- I've been back countless times. Their prices are low and they give you a lot of food. They make the food quickly, but it tastes amazing. They use the perfect amount of spices and seasoning on their food. They have a large selection of food to choose from, I recommend the chicken fajitas.

I love going to Jimmy's any time of the day for breakfast. On the weekends through the morning and early afternoon hours it can be very busy, so you might have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. I love to get an omelette at Jimmy's but you can easily share it with another person, as it is enormous. The restaurant is always clean, the waitstaff are friendly. They have a huge parking lot. Stop in sometime and enjoy a yummy home-cooked type breakfast.

When I first moved to the area, I didn't have a vehicle and was impressed over and over again by the public transportation. The trolley is always on time, always. The cost is extremely low. You can pretty much get to where ever you need to go in San Diego with the trolley. If you take the bus in conjuction with the trolley, you can get a transfer pass so you don't have to pay multiple times through one trip. There are passes available at a discounted rate. The trolleys are always clean and frequently have officers that come on board for safety reasons. Make sure you know where to get off at and remember that some of the stops are not in the best neighborhoods, so be careful. The trolley also offers free rides on New Year's Eve to discourage drunk driving which I think is a great idea.

This is my favorite mall in the San Diego area. First off, it's huge, with 5 or 6 levels. It's all open air, no roof and it's beautiful. There's a gorgeous fountain out front and there's brightly colored tiles throughout the mall. There are so many stores here, you can find just about anything you need. The parking deck is very large, as is the mall, and it's easy to forget where you parked. Take note of the level you're parked on, conveniently labelled with a fruit or veggie and make sure you get your parking ticket validated for free parking for the first 3 hours. There is a large food court on the top level of the mall with many different choices of cuisine. The mall is located right in the middle of downtown San Diego and it's easy to walk to and from and the trolley stops not far from it also.

The atmosphere makes this restaurant a lot of fun. The place is decorated with different Chargers memorabilia. There always seems to be an air of excitement in the restaurant. The servers are upbeat and friendly. If you want to check this restaurant out, make sure you go on a night when there's not a game, or you will have a long wait and it will be very crowded.

However, the food is good. They make everything from scratch and it's all fresh and hot when it gets to you. They will accept last minute reservations. The vans they use are clean and the drivers are friendly. The fare is pretty cheap.
