Good south Indian food

If you are ever in the mood for good south indian food, stop by at udupi palace. They offer all the major south indian dished, atleast the ones that I know off. They do offer north indian dishes on the menu, but I usually stick to the south indian dishes. Except for the chole bhatura I havent tried any of the north indian dishes here.
I usually start off with the medhu vada and move on to one of the dosas or uthappams. The food is very good and consistent. The service to is very prompt and effective. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good south indian food.
