If you don't sew and are curious about what can be done with one of those new fandangle embroidery machines, check out Northwest Sewing. They carry Bernina machines only, and they are top of the line. I never imagined that you could spend as much on a sewing machine as you might on a used car.
The people that work here are passionate about the machines they carry and they are passionate about sewing. It is contagious.
If you buy a machine and you don’t know what to do with it the have classes that will take you through the steps of using the machine. Plus there are other classes to make specific things.

I took a vacuum in for service recently and requested to only have a part fixed. They did a full service on the machine that cost about twice as much and didn't deduct the $10 coupon I had off the bill either.
I have no qualms about the service itself. The vacuum is fixed and was cleaned (and whatever else is included in servicing).
Beware of what service you are getting, I thought I had made it perfectly clear that I wanted only the part replaced. I guess that's what I get for not being a stickler and confirming every detail. :(

I have to be contrary to popular belief here. These doughnuts are heavy and hang out in my tummy like lead. I prefer light and fluffy doughnuts. Crispy Cremes are much better in my opinion.

Snoqualmie Falls is a super sight especially when the rainfall has been high and the rivers are threatening to flood. The extra water makes the falls even more dramatic. Even during the dry summer months the falls are thundering down. If the weather has been dry take a hike down to the river to see the falls from a different prospective. Be cautions if the weather has been wet, the trail can be a bit muddy.
There is ample parking across the street. And you can safely get to the falls via a pedestrian overpass (as the road here can be busy).
This local is just a sampling of the beauty in the Pacific Northwest. If you are a visitor and want to see more go to REI and pick-up a trail guide book for ideas of where to hike while in the area.

This is a brand new location for Grand Central Bakery. They are open seven days a week. There is a roomy dining area and some seating outside too. This would be a great place to have a leisurely morning with a big cup of coffee and a newspaper.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich and latte to go recently and felt like the wait was a bit long. Ordering ahead on the phone might solve that problem.
The food is very good. You may have already had their freshly baked bread as it is sold in the bakery department of almost every local grocery store.

The Acura of Bellevue Service department has a lot of new faces and some old ones. It seems like they are growing and getting busier. They have recently remodeled the entire property, it is a nice showroom.
I take my newer model Acura here for warranty work and scheduled maintenance (to avoid any confusion about warranty coverage).
These guys are professional, courteous and really take care of you, and your car. If you are having work done beyond an oil change you can schedule the use of a loaner car. This is a great service to use.
The mechanics are very professional and enjoy their work (which means they will do a good job). I have also had this dealership make a few modifications to my car. Everything they have done is great, and it isn't great they will fix it. One of the screws on my CAI was stripped after installation (they fixed that on my next visit).
If you are buying an Acura, this is the best place to do it. Last time I checked, there was a second sticker $ added to the dealer in Lynnwood.
