Cafe Evergreen, not to be confused with Evergreen Shanghai or the dozen other Evergreen chinese restaurants

Evergreen, also known as Henry's Evergreeen in the past, is a Cantonese Chinese restaurant on the Upper East Side, convenient to all the postdoctoral students studying at Rockefeller University. Their dim sum menu is quite extensive and authentic, but not cheap. Shrimp dumplings (4) and Shu Mai (4) cost around $5, which is at least 50-75% more than comparable dim sum restaurants in Chinatown. But Evergreen has cleanliness, quietness andample space, which makes for a much more pleasant experience. And an extensive wine list (unusal for a Chinese restaurant).
