Stepping into B. Oyama Homme is like getting your own stylist. Bernard (the B. in B. Oyama) is usually at the store offering advice to customers or just chewing the fat with the locals like myself. The clothing is a mix of B. Oyama originals which Bernard designs and a couple of high end labels. There's something very cool about knowing who designed your suit and getting him to tailor it for you. It's the closest you'll come to buying bespoke clothing without actually buying bespoke clothing.
This diamond in what used to be the rough is a sure sign of the success, not gentrification that has come to Harlem.
