Last week, I was driving to the grocery store when my brand new car (2006 Ford Expedition) stalled. Fortunately, I was able to "coast" my way over to Wayne Akers Ford. I walked over to the service department and found a consultant. With my two small children in tow, I told Ben Buchanan what had happened and he said he would look at the car. Unable to get the car started again, he walked back over and started my paperwork. He said he wasn't sure what was wrong with the car but that it shouldn't take too long. He asked if I needed a ride somewhere and I told him that the car was only two months old and that I thought I deserved a "loaner". He reminded me that I didn't buy the vehicle at that dealer but he would see what he could do. A few minutes later, he returned with news that I could get a loaner. About 5 hours later, Wayne Akers called and said my car was ready. It turned out to be a loose wire somewhere but I haven't had a problem since. The service department was quick to repair the problem, especially since I didn't have an appointment. I've had other cars repaired there, years ago, and did not have the same pleasurable experience. It seems as though, it has improved there. I would recommend this service department and return there myself.
