Terriyaki delight -- rice, chicken, salad, wonton for under 7 dollars and tasty at that. This little hole in the wall brings in the college crowd for all that is needed -- good portions, taste, and cost. Croquettes for the more sophisticated are also available. No ambiance so dont bring a date -- unless of course it is a cheap one. Get the dark meat -- it is much more tender than the white meat.

Japanese Californian fusion means tasty interesting food like meatloaf with demi glace, yams with plum mayo, a huge lamb shank that is falling off the bone, a nice eggplant appetizer and a unique ambiance that would appeal for a reasonable romantic date. Where is the Japanese? On the menu and serving the food. A quaint spot that hits the spot. They also have a nice patio for outdoor dining, but it fills up quickly. So far everything on the menu has been great. lOts of taste.

Yummy noodles in a casual neigborhood setting with excellent service. Shoyu Ramen, Yakisoba and Tofu salad are hits, but dont forget the gyoza or the fried rice. You cant go wrong here. Order extra -- you will be surprised at how much you can eat here. No alcohol so BYUB. Lines can appear at lunch but they are nice and quick at getting people served and tables cleaned. Waitresses are quick and nice. Maybe I shouldnt be letting you know that this place is a hit.

Thai Fresh has great Pad See Ew and Thai fried rice with chicken or beef. The curries are ok, but oily. The Pad Thai is nice. Ask for no salad and you get more noodles. Be sure you know what to order because the service can be grumpy and impatient. We have cancelled a few orders due to this. Overall reasonable rates and tasty. Penang beef is very tasty and soupy. The meat can be flavorful but sometimes the beef is a little bit dry. Go for chicken instead. Delivery can take a while and they will not give you the benefit of the doubt on mix ups so be prepared to be flexible...
