Sapporo is one of those habachi/steak house style places that I don't consider Japanese really. Not to mention that it's run by Koreans, at least at the time I went. That's not a bad thing tho, because have you ever been to Korean BBQ? It's really good. Koreans are really good w/ meats which is why Sapporo is pretty good. It's not too cheap, but you're paying for the entertainment from the knife masters/chefs they have there. I still hate how they waste onions w/ their stupid but fun onion volcano.

This is another one of those hokey Japanese restaurants that plague Georgia. There are really only a couple of really authentic and good Japanese restaurants that my family and I go to, cuz we're Japanese. I'm not sure why I hear some ppl say that this place is actually good, because it's not. I remember eating there w/ one of my friends and we both thought it sucked, and not to mention pretty expensive for college students. I guess if you don't know any better tho, or think you know what Japanese food is but really don't, you should go here.

Gordo's Cafe has to be one of the best sandwich places in East Cobb. It is also one of those places that not too many people know about, because of it's obscure out of view location. Their sandwiches are soo good tho. The only problem is that they are only open for lunch. So don't miss lunch!

I hate it when everybody wants their own dish which makes it almost impossible to try a few dishes... stupid friends. Anyways try everything cuz I don't think you can go wrong!

The first and only time I went, I got tempura which was subpar and my bro got tonkatsu which was paper thin. This place just doesn't seem that good to me. If they can't even do common Japanese foods right, I'm not even gonna touch the sushi. I guess this place is good if you live in the east cobb area and are really craving japanese food and don't wanna drive to cobb parkway. Just my thought... I can't believe it's still in business.

One time I did that, and it didn't taste all too good and it was soggy. Other than that, you can't find a better New York style cheese pizza. The people there are real nice as well, enhancing the dining experience when you eat in. But if you just wanna chill at home and watch a movie, you can alwasy get take out. Either way, you're gonna get good food!

The sandwiches themselves seemed a little bland, which is why they probably give you this special sauce to put on it. Personally, I didn't think that these sandwiches were really that good, and it's sorta expensive. If you know this area, there is a sandwich place in the merchants festival shopping center called Gordos. They have awesome sandwiches, but sadly they are only open for lunch.

This place was one of the best Chinese restaurants here when I first moved to Marietta. Since then it has gone down hill a little. Their fried rice was not too good last time I went. Their other food was sloppily made, like their Mongolian Beef having big chunks of sugar in it. Maybe I just went on a bad day. At least their Moo shu pork was still as good as it was in the past. Actually China Doll has one of the best moo shu pork dishes. That is why I gave it a good rating.

I know there are a lot of Korean restaurants on Buford Highway, but this place is good and easy to get to. It's very close off the freeway. Their BBQ is awesome, whether you like bulgogi or calbeegui. I like bulgogi personally. You can also grill it yourself at the table which is always fun. You might smell like Korean BBQ if you do tho. But since it's so good, you can share the wealth w/ your friends! :)

This is probably the second best authentic Japanese restaurant in the Atlanta-Marietta area. They have especially good Tempura, so if you go don't forget to try it out. All their food is good and the price is not bad at all. Their noodles are good as well, including their udon and ramen. Try this out if Umezono is not in your area!
