I tried this place when it first opened up, and it's fairly new (7/05). Their "famous" seafood and poboys is really nothing much. The batter they use on their fried seafood, including in the poboy, doesn't really have a cajun flavor. They give you a choice of 5 sauces to flavor it, but it's not the same. They do have a tempting weekday offer w/ $1 appetizers, but they are really nothign special. Plus they don't include the oyster appetizer as a $1 selection. Their fried cheese grits are pretty good as is their gator taco. Their fries are homemade and tasty too. But if you want a poboy, go to Pappadeux and split one w/ a friend, because their's is 2x as big as AJ's. Give AJ's a shot on their $1 deal tho, Mon-Thurs 2-5pm.

Chops really defines what a 5 star restaurant is. The atmosphere makes you feel really snooty and stuff. Their food is top notch, OH MAN IS IT!! They have surf and turf, which is a choice steak and flash fried lobster. I have never tasted such a good lobster before. Flash fried is the way to go! They also have a very good seasoning on the steak, so don't even think about steak sauce which is crap anyways. Of course since it is a 5 star restaurant, it's gonna cost a pretty penny, and it'll have to be a pretty green penny in a rectangular shape. Great for special occasions or if you seriously wanna splurge.

This restaurant is one of those restaurant that my family and I only go to on special occasions, which means once a year maybe. This place is seriously 5 star food. I always go for their surf and turf which is fillet mingon and lobster. No A1 sauce here, because their steaks are seasoned and very tasty, and not to mention that A1 sauce is crap. The only thing I can sorta complain about are their mashed potatoes which are sorta salty. Other than that this place is great. Go for other stuff too like their fish or crabs and stuff.

I had the worst experience at this italian restaurant. I'll start w/ the food though. The food is just normal Italian foods that you can find at most regular italian places, but maybe not as good. Then there's the service... let's just say it' s not the best and you won't make any friends. Now the worst part of my experience. The food was fine w/ no hairs in site, but when I asked for a to go box, there was a huge hair on the underside and guess what... it fell in my food when the waiter brought it over. So i guess I just had a bad experience. Try your luck.

St Charles Deli is a normal restaurant to me. I think this is the one on Tech Square, but I'm sure they're all the same. To me, it didn't seem like the price I paid was worth the food I got. I mean it was close to $10 w/ a drink I think. I have had a BLT and their hamburger. Their coleslaw wasn't too good when I tried it. I've wanted to try their chili fries. They looked good. I'd give it a shot, but for the price, you can get much better food if you just want deli style food.

This place is supposed to be a Mediterranean style restaruant, but they have pizzas and pasta and what not. It's really good tho. I've been to the one at Tech Square on the Georgia Tech campus. It's not the cheapest place for students, but they have lunch specials and stuff so it's not too bad. They have a $7.99 buffet at the one on Tech Square. It's better than some other choices at Tech Square at least.

They also have salads and what not, which are also good, but their sandwhiches are, dare I say, the bread winners~. HAHAHA, anyways just go and find out what you've been missing for the past XX years of your life.

Thumbs Up is the perfect place to get breakfast, because that is pretty much all they serve. If you go, don't leave w/o someone trying a heap. They are the most perfect breakfast dish I have ever seen. There are a few different types so choose whatever is to your liking. This place is especially great to meet up w/ your friends. The only downside to Thumbs Up is the size of their eating area. It's not too big, and around 11-1ish, You'll be waiting for a while to get in. Other than the wait, everything is great!

This is one of those places that gets really crowded during lunch because of business people. I can easily believe it too because they are really good. They have many different types of pizzas, regular and unique ones. This restaruant will fit everybody's taste, hence the name. Their sandwiches are not to be overlooked either. Their BLT pizza/sandwich hybrid is amazing. They use pizza dough as the bread. TRY IT!!!

This place is really popular among Georgia Tech students, but I really don't care for it. I've had real authentic asian food from Chinese to Korean. This place isn't that good in my opinion. One time I had sesame chicken, but it sucked so bad. Their rice sucks too. I've actually gone another time, reluctantly, and got some pad thai. I can't say it was bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. I guess if you're a Tech student, you might as well go cuz it's not too expensive. I'll stick w/ Umezono for Japanese, Seoul Garden for Korean, and even Panda Express for Japanese. You have to admit Panda Express is the best Chinese mall food that even beats some restaurants in my opinion.
