The Hog Island Deli on Lavaca is a really nice find for east coast style Italian deli sandwiches. A casual place that seems to attract a lot of folks who work in the Capital. They import their bread and meats from Philly so you know they are committed to East Coast flavor. Their Italian sub is awesome, lots of meats like ham, salami stacked on a super fresh roll. They have good chicken parm, cheese steaks and other hot sandwiches.
