When I stopped in at 2nd look, they had a magnificent lizard skin chanel handbag, manolo blahniks, jimmy choos and other high end designer brands. They put new merchandise out every day and it's definitely worth a browse. Of course, it's hit or miss and if you're like me, you'll fall in love with Manolo's that are two sizes too small. Be sure to ask if items are original. They carry fauxes as well as authentic designer items.

Lime in North Miami has creative and healthy mexican food. The space is new and nicely decorated. They also have outdoor seating. You can customize your order and choose from a variety of salads, fajitas or wraps and add chicken or beef, low fat cheese etc. They also have quesadillas, chili and much more. I think it's a chain but I haven't come across the other locations yet. It's definitely worth trying.

Oishi Sushi at 151 St. is really a beautiful space. The decor is very attractive and the sushi is very good. The menu also includes many asian staples and Thai specialities. They get very busy with take-out orders during weeknights so be prepared to wait. We odered pretty straight-forward sushi rolls but waited 20 minutes between edamame and sushi.

One Price Dry Cleaning is open 6 days a week and they're open early so you can drop off and pick up on your way to work. They charge less than $3 per item but you have to prepay cash. They don't do the work on the premises so their turn around time is a day or so longer than other dry cleaners who do the work on site. I guess that's how they keep their prices low so if you're not in a rush and you're not dry cleaning the most prized items in your wardrobe, definitely try this place.

Romy's II does a good job on shoe, handbag and luggage repairs. Their prices are reasonable and so is their turnaround time. I've had several pairs of shoes repaired there and in one case, after a few weeks, the glue didn't hold up but they redid the job without charging extra. If you have any problems you can take your items right back. They also sell knock-off designer handbags and luggage.

Bagel Bar East serves anything you can think of when it comes to deli. The staff is attentive and they do their best to keep your coffee cup full while your food is prepared. Their parking lot is not so big so during lunchtime it gets really crowded. Try their Matzo Ball soup or their breakfast special. I took some New Yorkers there once and they enjoyed the salami sandwich.

Deli Den is big. The ceilings are super high and the place is always packed. You can have your standard fare of breakfast, deli sandwiches, bagels, salads and soups. The wait can be long on weekends but the servers try their best to keep your coffee cup full. The waitress misunderstood my order and redid it from scratch without any attitude.

Mo's is a favorite for Sunday morning brunch. You can order the mickey mouse pancake for the little ones (be warned...it's huge). They start you off with pastries and you can have oatmeal, eggs, bagels...you name it. For lunch they have a great variety of soups, salads and of course deli sandwiches. On Thanksgiving they offer a really cute, but kitschy, dinner with live music and all the trimmings.
