What Coffee Shops Should Be Like

I stopped at Cafe Demetrio because I had some time to kill before an appointment. I enjoyed a half hour at a coffee shop that reminds me of what a coffee shop should be like. This place is not a chain. It has character and it's wonderful. I took their menu home with me and looked on their website and learned that it's coral gables first coffee shop. The decor is a checkerboard tile floor which is a little nostalgic but they're also WI-FI wired. I had the best latte I've had in a long time. They also had an assortment of pastries and a pretty comprehensive menu. Unfortunately it's a little far for me to visit frequently but whenever I'm in Coral Gables, I stop in. It's wonderful!
