we used him for our wedding. he has a fairly non descript shop on 2nd ave. while the shop itself has a very rustic, cluttered feeling dont let this fool you, andy is very maleable and can do arrangements of most any style. his pricing is very reasonable as well. and andy was a pleasure to work with. he showed up with his family before the wedding to make sure the arrangements were all in place. super nice guy.

you dont find these kinda guys around that often. its a great neighborhood spot - i try to buy meats here as often as possible as opposed to a food emporium or a dag. these guys know their meats...

if you are looking for window treatments this is a great place to swing by. they have a ton of selection on the floor to give you a good feel about things. but unlike other window places these guys are kinda snooty. they dont send someone to your place for an estimate and just go off dimensions you provide. and this stuff is all pretty standard no matter who you buy from and they are pricier. use them for ideas but not for your purchase

i've rarely had a problem with these guys. if i need a car to the airport or just around town this is the service i use. they are prompt, reliable. maybe on one or two occasions they'v been a little late because of traffic. and the drivers are responsible and dont chat your ear off which is an added bonus.

while i would question the 'museum quality' aspects of alot of things in here i would actually say that alot of this stuff is pretty fun. the novelty factor is definitely high. there are a copule of things that are good for the home but things are on the pricey side so i would say you are better off sticking to the many novelty type items they have floating around. it'd be nice if there was more of a connection here to the stuff in the museum.

i have to walk past this place every morning on the way to work. after subjecting myself to this stench over and over i finally ventured inside one day. its a pretty good selection they have. you'd think with some of the larger supermarkets in the neighborhood (like the bridge mkt food emporium) you wouldnt need mom & pop places like this. but when you taste the quality of the fresh fish you'll understand why
