German Village is a cute area to begin with; then there are places like Old Mohawk, a leftover from the 20's according to the building history inside. It's a cozy and casual restaurant, and you can read a little about the different uses the building has been through. A nice touch considering that GV does have some great old buildings with good stories.
They have good and reasonably priced food, and it is worth a visit. The crust-less pizza bake is good- basically baked pasta with a fabulous amount of cheese and sauce. The spicy black bean burger is good, too.
Caution: it can get a bit busy and they won't seat till your entire party is there.
