The food is very good, but a little expensive. Will I ever go back? Yes most definitely, first chance I get. The portions are very big so either bring an appetite or go ahead and box up the left overs. The 1/2 pound hamburger is huge. The chicken fried steak, even though it's a little thin, is still one of the biggest I've ever seen. It was more than half the size of the plate. And well you'll just have to see the "violated chicken" for yourself. I haven't yet tried the barbecue yet, but I look forward to going back as soon as I can. Expect a full parking lot and over a 30 minute wait if you go on a Friday at noon, but you'll get that anywhere. I heard they take reservations but I'm not positive about that yet. The service was excellent. They really took care of us, they made sure that we were happy. They have what appears to be a required uniform for the wait staff , similar to that of Hooter's but they've definitely got their own style. It is no wonder that most of the customers are male.

Yes, this place is big. Yes, it is new and cool looking. Yes, it is usually clean. AND YES IT IS OVERRUN BY TEENAGERS ON THE WEEKENDS!!!! The abundance of teenage children hanging around on Friday and Saturday nights is unbearable. It seems like if you are 13 to 17 and live within 50 miles, then this is the place to be. And it is just annoying to be there watching a movie and you have to sit there when some kid's phone goes off and you have to listen to the most recent hip hop ring tone on his phone. And of course you get a chance to hear the entire song because he is trying to get through the three shirts 10 times his size trying to find a pants pocket somewhere down around his knees. And no, this is not just movies that are PG-13, there is little or no effort to keep younger people from going in and out of any theater they choose. The only ticket taker is on the bottom floor when you walk in the door, after that they have full run of the building. If you go during the week, during the day, then yes it is a nice place. My advise for a couple or a group of adults is to go to the Movie Tavern in Bedford it may be older and more laid back, but at least you can sit and enjoy a movie in peace.

Hmmmm. Where to begin. It was clean. The prices where a little too high for an entree with that much rice in it. $7 to $9 but I still left hungry. But I just couldn't tell what they were going for here. Is everyone ready for the Indo-Chinese thing? Did they accomplish bringing this type of food to us? I'm still not sure. I mean I under stood the ordering process and the menu-- vegetarian, chicken, lamb.....but it just was too much effort for a hungry person. We have some vegetarians in our lunch group and I suppose for them it was good change. The food could be ordered spicy or mild, it just didn't seem to be an option that was able to help this food out. It seemed too much like they were going for a trendy, Indian, fast food place. I would compare it to the same feeling I get from Chipolte having that trendy, Mexican, fast food thing going on. If I were feeling like eating a little healthier I would probably go back. But gees, I think I would have rather have had a Big Mac and fries.

The slogan written on the door is, "So good, it'll make you slap yo mama." Well ok then...I am the type of person who usually finishes off everything that is put in front of me. Well OK, I finished the chicken fried steak too, but it did take some doing. Po Melvins serves very good home style cooking at very good prices. If the chicken fried steak were any bigger, it would have needed side boards to keep it on the plate. And it was a hand dipped one, not one of those box jobs you'll find at other places. I liked being able to choose which yummy veggies to eat. Note--there are five to six of the vegetables that have an asterisk next to them with the footnote that they are seasoned with pork. The prices are less than you would get at a Cracker Barrel or Black Eyed Pea and the food just tastes better. The restaurant itself doesn't look like much from either the outside or inside, but this is just what I would say is Family owned vs. Corporate carbon copy dining. I would think that this place would be great for either lunch or family dining in the evening.

First off, this place is huge. It is a big roomy place. There is a full bar, a huge dining area and of course a sushi bar. It is clean and the staff is quick, friendly and always asking if you need anything else. The food is on the upper side of what you normally would pay for sushi. But the taste and display of the food is wonderful. We tried the Louisiana roll and the Crazy roll. The second having more of a clearing effect than the first. The California roll does not look or taste like the imitation crap filling that most of the cheaper or smaller sushi bars serve. The flounder and salmon was fresh and tasted great. We left nothing and enjoyed all. I don't know if it was because of the size of this place or maybe the higher prices, but it seemed like we were in and out of there well within the 1 hour we have for lunch. This is in comparison to some of the other dining options in this same shopping center where you would have a wait to be seated. Red, Hot and Blue and Champs are both in this area, but these are often hard to get into without a wait at lunch time. I had read some of the reviews in the paper about this restaurant and they had made it sound like a singles techno bar scene. I didn't really get that vibe at lunch time, but I suppose that things could be different once the sun goes down.

There is many Asian style restaurants up and down Beltline, but this place has got to be one of the best ones I've been to. It is hidden and you will probably pass it if you are not looking really hard for the small signs. It is a small place but when we went for lunch there was nobody else there. It doesn't look like it has been open for very long. Their prices are VERY good and their food is fantastic. The sushi I had was the Shrimp Tempura Rolls and it was excellent. It was fresh, flavorful and had a very appetizing appearance. I also had the Spicy Mayo Chicken bowl for $4.69 and the flavor and appearance was great. Everyone else in my group remarked at how fantastic their food was. Even a vegetarian chef that was with us thought her food was very well prepared and authentic. The service was also fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I've been back several times and I wish I had ordered the jalepeno roll a long time ago, it was the best.

Face it, ribs plates are not going to be cheap anywhere. If you want to spend it on yourself, go for it. If you have company coming by and you don't want to spend a lot, go for the chopped beef. The chopped beef is usually either buy a pound get a pound free. Some chips and hamburger buns and you've got your get out of cooking dinner card. Still too much work? The chopped sandwiches are usually buy 6 for $5. So you can feed an army for very little cash. The taste?? I myself prefer chopped over sliced anyway. I love the taste. I can't stop. They're great. The small homemade pecan pies could be a little sweeter. Drive thru or eat there in the small antique western dining area.

What can I say about this place, but OMG. Love cheese? You'll love Rosa's. Love great tortillas? You'll love Rosas. Try the tacos Al Carbon, they have a flavor on the meat that will make you close your eyes and savor every bite. Spring for some extra tortillas and slap some butter on those bad boys. Whew! I really feel that if you get their large combination plate it will be too much food. Just pick your favorite from the pictured menu and order by number. Doesn't sound fantastic but I guess it is just to make it simple. I can't give it the 5th star just because you stand to order and they call your number to pick up. The atmosphere is just a bit over the top with the brightly colored decor and the wooden parrots hanging, but the food is great. They do have an outdoor area for those nights when we have great weather.

Mi Hacienda is easy to find and the food is very good. Monday-Thursday specials include the Taco or Enchilada Dinner(cheese, beef or chicken) for $4.99. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the service is very good. This restaurant has that family owned feel that you just don't get from the fast food feel of a Taco Cabana. It is part of the Pulido family chain so if you love Pulido's you'll love this place. You can see when you go in that it is definitely a local neighborhood secret. The manager makes his way around the restaurant and talks to his long time patrons on a first name basis. I do suggest the specials. The other menu item although very good are only what I would feel an average value with other restaurants. I have never seen this place overly packed with people and I really don't know why. If you are so inclined they have a large happy hour menu although I am not sure of the times.

This place has very good burgers. The burgers are large juicy and the buns are nicely toasted and the onions are grilled. The chili burgers are smothered. Pick your choice of cheeses and guacamole or jalapenos are options as well. The price is nice for the size of the burgers. If you don't have much of an appetite, you may want to go for the baby burger, it is still a nicely sized burger. The fish basket is not a bad choice at all. They do have some other items on the menu like chicken strips or egg rolls, but I haven't had them. The restaurant is out of the way, but not difficult to find. The restaurant is well maintained and clean. Once you have the burgers, you will go back.
