I was referred to this set of Dr's when i was pregnant with my third child. I followed some of the Dr's when they moved to start this practice. While I liked the Dr I saw, I thought the wait periods where excessive and it was very hard to get an appointment. Once we moved to Allen it was just too far to make that drive all the way across town when I had a sick child. The new waiting room was not the greatest either as they had no partition for sick children.

The Fashion Bug is conveniently located right next to Tom Thumb so often grabs my interest when I go grocery shopping. The clothes are cute and of the latest fashions. prices are great on most items and the sale prices seem pretty good too. There always seems to be something on sale in fashion Bug. The store is well kept and staff friendly and helpful.

Mardel is a store that I wish was closer to my home! They have a great variety of Christian music at great prices. The kids section is wonderful too and they have a play area for the kids to watch...
Mardel is a store that I wish was closer to my home! They have a great variety of Christian music at great prices. The kids section is wonderful too and they have a play area for the kids to watch TV or play with a train set while you shop. Plenty of educational items for home schooling at very good prices. The children love their 10c buckets where they can choose a variety of items from their allowance. They always have the latest book releases and often run great specials.

I have used Kinkos in Allen a few times, my extended family have used them a bit too. They have a lot of services under one roof which does make it conveniant, but often they seem under staffed as there is always a long wait to get a simple item done in this store. Their prices seem reasonable and once you request a job done it is normally done fairly quickly.

The Dallas Zoo is a wonderful days outing for the family. It has easy access with the DART and is affordable. We liked our last visit so much that we took out a family membership which was just a few dollars then what it cost us to get in for the day. The monorail is great and allows you to see parts of the zoo that you don't get to see on foot. I love the new section with the kids interactive areas and petting zoo that they have. The river bed is also a neat place for the kids to play.

We visited the Dallas World Aquarium after being very disappointed by the one at Fair Park. This is a nice Aquarium - a bit small I think and expensive for what you get to see. The highlights are the tunnel that you see fish all around you and also the penguins from cape Town South Africa are a big hit for us - brings back a bit of home! There is a restaurant to eat in but we have not yet done that. I think it is a nice place to go visit if you have not been to an Aquarium in a while.

Central Market I think should be classified as a tourist attraction. I don't think there are many stores like this around. The variety is enormous and definitely upmarket. A bit on the expensive side but worth it for items that you cannot find in your local grocery store. Birthday cakes are delicious from here and beautifully designed. An enjoyable place just to walk around and see. Experience little bits from different cultures.

We are a seafood loving family and so Joes Crab Shack is a big hit with us. The children love the craziness of the place and the variety of food on the kids meal. We ahve not yet taken advantage of the play ground but I can see that being a big hit too. The prices are okay - we normally go when they ahve the big plate of shrimp for $12.99 - cannot beat that. A fun place to go for a fun evening out.

Gamestop has been a great place for us to browse the used game sections and get him a nice selection of games at failry reasonable prices. They alos have a great return policy which is a store credit - so if you purchase a game and it is not what you had in mind then you can always go and swap it out. Get the gamestop card - it offers you bigger discounts.

WE purchased a fish tank for my daughter for her birthday from petco along with a couple of fish. Much to her dissapointment the fish died within a week or so of being in her new tank. Petco has a wonderful return policy on fish, so we where able to take them back and they tested our water, made recommendations and refunded us the money from our previous purchase. The staff are very knowledgeable. Only down side is some products on petco website are not available in their store.
