This is relatively new to Allen and is a wonderful addition to this great town. It comprises of a large indoor swimming pool , a gym and the best of all is an indoor swimming play ground. There is a play set in the water with tubs of water that dump on you and a lovely big lazy river that seems to be the hit with all the kids. You can also do swim lessons here and host a kids party - they have party rooms available for hire. The price is very affordable and worth it for a few hours fun.

This was one of the first places we visited when we moved to America. We thought it would be this nice aquarium with lots to see. We where very dissapointed to find that it was just 1 room with a few fish tanks and about a 5 minute visit. It was a couple of dollars to get in which was a waste of money I think.

This was my first baseball game experience. The stadium has so much charactor and is wonderfully laid out. It is clean and has lots of space. Parking is plentiful and not too expensive, or you can park at the mall and walk to the field. Refreshments are plentiful but fairly pricey. The only downside was that you could not bring in your own water unless it was a specific name brand.

This is such a wonderful oasis in the big city. The best time to visit would be in the spring and a must see is the Dallas Blooms festival in April. They have wonderful plant sculptures too. The gardens are wonderful for your spring pictures too! There is a lot to see at the Arboretum and plenty of places to have a picnic with the family. The children love the old buildings they can play in and the hands on garden is always a hit. The garden can be a bit pricey for some, but well worth the visit at least once.

We visited Sandy Lake Park in August - NOT a good time ti visit - it is TOO hot. I thought it would be very different from what I had read. There seems to be a lot to do, and although entrance is cheap, the games require a lot of tickets. The pool area did not have a lot of shade for these hot days. I was a little dissapointed with it, but am sure on a cooler day it would of been a better experience.

This is a great place for a young childs party. They have a large play space where you can bounce in three or four different houses and then they have a smaller area for the younger children who might be afraid of the bounce houses. The room for the cake and presents is larg, clean and bright. This is a fairly new business and so their prices are very reasonable.

When my family heard we where living in Dallas they all said we must go visit south Fork Ranch. It is a great place to visit, they have a nice store that you can browse while waiting for the tour. The tour takes you round the grounds a bit and then on a walking tour inside the house. I found this a little dissapointing as it is not at all like the house in the TV series Dallas. Admittion prices are fairly reasonable and it is a fun place to take out of town visitors for a morning or afternoon.

The ice skating rink at stonebriar is located in the middle of the mall so you always have an audience. The rink is open for general public a couple of hours a day and the prices seem fairly reasonable. They have a good selection of skates and also offer ice skating classes for all ages. There is a section where you can sit and watch and they also have some food stores close by if you need a bite to eat.

The store does not have a wide variety of cakes to purchase in passing, it seems as though most of the business is done by placing orders for an event. They are pricey for what you are getting but the cake is very tasty.
