Kanvas has a lot going for it. The neighborhood, up-and-coming, attracts a lot of interest, their cocktail list is original and well designed, and they have a loyal happy hour following. These elements combine to create a trendy, laid-back lounge full of successful, good-looking young people.
Happy hour lasts from 4-8 and all of their specialty drinks are half priced. Order a pitcher of strawberry mojitos. They are too good for words. Food, which is exponentially better than typical bar fare, is also discounted. Arrive early because it starts to clear out around nine.
