stayed at NYNY Hotel and Casino a few months ago. The rooms at this hotel are very nice. I was upgraded upon arrival by the man at the check-in desk. The rooms were spacious with nice marble sinks in the bathroom. The views from the room were great, overlooking the Strip. The roller coaster is great fun and well worth the 14 dollars a ride.

This hotel is very cool. The Egyptian theme is carried throughout from check-in to the rooms, from the shopping to the restaurants. Upon check-in we were given the choice of a tower room or a pyramid room. We chose the pyramid room. We were on the 12th floor. Looking down from the pyramid made us dizzy, but was a very cool site. The room was standard, one king sized bed, decent sized bathroom with shower/tub combination. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The fitness center at Loma Linda University is a top notch facility. The weight room and cardio areas are both well equipped. There is an indoor track and basketball courts. The staff is always very friendly. There is never a big crowd. The facility is virtually empty when school is not in session.

The staff at Joe Jones Ski and Sport are very knowledgeable and wiling to go out of their way for you. I purchased a pair of skis there recently. The staff was sure to check with me on all the appropriate matters before fitting me for my boots and skis. Their location right on Payne Road in Scarborough makes getting their very convenient.

Funtown/Splashtown USA is a good place to bring the kids. There are not a lot of rides for teenagers or adults. It is not a huge amusement park, but it is the largest in the area. Some of the rides are beginning to look a little worn. However, the park has added some new rides over the past few years. Most of the staff is friendly, with the exception of a few younger employees.

I stayed at the The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort on a business trip to Montana. The resort was just great! The rooms were decent, but the grounds were just fantastic! The hot springs on site were a nice way to spend those relaxing free moments. There is a pool with a water park sized water slide. The waterslide is an extra $5 for hotel guests and well worth it. The hotel conference room is great as is the casual restaurant. There is even a playground for families with children. Highly recommended.

Excalibur Hotel and Casino is a good place for a family on vacation in Las Vegas. They have a lot of themed events that make visiting fun for a child. The arcade and game room is the perfect stop for the little ones. Although, there did seem like there were a lot of problems with the skee ball machines. The rooms at Excalibur were standard rooms, two queen sized beds, a small bathroom, adequate dresser and closet space. The location is good, somewhat near the middle of the strip. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

I used Dee and Walt's Auto Repair to have my brakes replaced. I dropped my car off and picked it up later on that day. Their prices are comparable to others in the area. The service was decent. The big downfall is that they are not open on the weekends, which makes things a little bit more difficult for me.
